No coach has a consistant 11 man rotation! Its not happening. Most successful coaches go 8-9 deep max. So if you plug AR and Moz back in, at least two players have to be removed. Who would it be? Also, removing Rautins and Mason from the team wont help much because we are not going to have a 13 man rotation.
The Knicks are carrying similar type players on the bench. Their biggest weakness is at Center and PF position and those are the rebounding positions. They need to get AR involved and Mozgov involved its a must. Play 11-12 if they have to but these two need to be involved and prepared for the long haul of the season. They are neither being developed or taught to be in the rotation and are basically after thoughts. Amare can't do this all by himself MDA is just asking to much from him.
Adding Moz and AR back to the rotation will be a domino effect. Moz is a center and AR is a PF, because there is no way MDA is putting him at SF because he cant shoot. If Moz gets mins at the center spot, then Amare slides back to the 4 to make up for the mins he usually gets at center. Amare at 4 and AR backing him up cuts into Chanlders mins at 4 and he will have to make up mins somewhere, perhaps back-up 3 and some 2 meaning Feilds loses mins especially if MDA wants to play Felt and Douglas together for a few mins a night. Turiaf would have to play exclusively at 5 and would lose some mins aswell. Again, no coach is playing an 11 man roation so this would mean Williams and Walker would be back out of the rotation. Its alot to think about and alot of juggling because MDA plays his guys out of position alot as to cause match-up problems.
