Thats what they are going to be dealing with in the playoffs. No one is denying that Felton is having a great regular season but he still has very little playoff experience. Nash knows how to deal with that kind of pressure. Nothing really controversial about that. It would give the Knicks a two year window to make a serious run if they also add a decent big man.
I wouldn't touch Nash with regards to any discussion around Felton. Did you see how many picks Nash went under? No way. Knicks D is more improved over what Nash would offer to the O.
I would like to see less automatic switching when Felton is a part of a PnR on the defensive end, but that's just me (and we did notice how the Knicks countered that later in the game).
I wouldn't judge Nash on a few picks. If Nash's D was so bad, Felton should have been able to blow by him without any help. Something
Nash had very little trouble doing to Felton off the dribble. Doesn't mean Felton is a lousy defender, quite the contrary. Like TMS pointed out, Nash has the second best numbers in the league with mostly a bunch of mutts. Imagine what he could do in NY. Its a shame because Nash still can be a game changer but he is on a team with no game. NY could be a great fit and I'd be surprised if Felton wouldn't gain something from having a future HOF and a great teammate in Nash.
