JJ's a good 1" or 2 taller as well...See this is where a GM can't afford a misstep in the NBA -- this guy might wind up commanding MLE type money, maybe more...Do we give him that or use those funds for something else and sign and develop JJ instead next year? Tough decision..Could always have both but if J. Jordan's a player at the NBA level, DeAndre would be redundant a little no??? Maybe not -- you can never have enough size I suppose..

People that saw Jerome play for Tulsa and are also familiar with DeAndre Jordan with the Clippers: compare both as is..Who would you rather have if the roster took shape next summer in such a way that there was only enough room for one of the two?

Glad he went the Euroleague route. Best thing for his game and his on court toughness, IMO.

Has anyone heard whether or not he is in our plans for next year?

And for that matter, has anyone actually seen him play this year and compared his play in Europe to how he played in the SL?

Just wondering.

all his stats:

dude is averaging like 3 fouls in 15 minutes of play. IN EUROPE.

We have to give him credit--hes played very well in Europe--the guy has barely missed a shot. But we certainly could use another big man--how many games left in Europe? Can we pull him near the deadline back? We could use him in the D league for 2-3 games for 40 minutes and then bring him on board. Just like anyone else--lets see what he has--what else can he do in the Euro League hes shooting 80%.

How are his hands?

Smart? Can learn a system?

Shot outside of 5 feet?

He's a very athletic 6-11 foot 260 pound guy who plays a pure 5. I would say a poor mans Dwight Howard would be a comparison and working hard to improve that.

good comparison with howard - he has a very similar physique. the rebounding and defense is there but his offense is much more behind the pace that howard was at, at similar age. i think jordan can become a very good 5.. he just needs time, we should definitely be looking to pick him up.

Do you actually think he will get run in the MDA system? I honestly think Jordan would get benched right next to AR.

I think you are right. I don't see D'Antoni playing him.

In Dec a guy to keep an eye on over the next 50 games. I kind of know what I want in FA--one of the criteria being retaining Wilson Chandler. We need a C a high quality 6th man another scorer and a back up PG.
