That isn't the point now is it? Anytime those guys lose to a good team it's good fun. They lost twice to Boston and now twice to Dallas. They're not exactly impressing the Elite teams in the league right now. Just cuz they Heat can beat up on the rest of the League doesn't make them special. The Heat are in their own special little spot just outside of the Elite teams, but above everyone else.

Why is is good fun when the Heat lose? Honestly, I'd rather see the Celts lose. I have no personal agenda against the Heat. I was a fan of Lebrons games while in Cleve and I'm still a fan of his game eventough he turned us down.

That's disgusting. LeCon made us look like a cheap whore during the summer and last Friday. To say you're still a fan of this jerk is like saying you were a fan of Michael Jordan or Reggie Miller during the 90s.

First of all I was hurt as any Knick fan when he didn't come here. With that said, when did Lebron ever say he was going to sign with the Knicks in the summer of 2010? I'll wait while you find the direct quote. Just because he has an affinity for Yankee hats, were no indication that he would sign in NY.

The Knicks are my favorite team, but I'm also a basketball fan, and yes I'm a fan of his game. He's the most physically gifted player any of us has ever seen. As a basketball fan, how can you not admire talent? I was a big Penny Hardaway fan even when Shaq and the Magic used to kick our Arses. Same with Bird, I hate the Celtics with a passion but I have a best of Larry Bird DVD because the guy was amazing. Same with Magic, Jordan, Isiah, etc.

I cannot respect that. It's fans like you who ruined the Garden by cheering for the enemy.

dude you've said before you were a bulls fan and don't try and play dumb with the handle you're just "currently" using.

WHAT!! I was NEVER freaking Chicago Bulls fan!!

And SergioNYK was the only other user name I've ever used on this site. Check your facts before accusing me of rooting for the team that made my youth hell.

No one had to LIKE Jordan as Knicks fans in the 90s. But they did have to RESPECT him.

You can respect Michael Jordan but if you cheered for him at the Garden or bought his jersey or wear a pair of Jordan's, that's just wrong.

If you don't have an utter disdain for the HEAT then you were not a fan of the Knicks in the 90s. There is PLENTY of bad blood between the Heat and the Knicks. The whole Pat Riley connection, the playoff loss to them after they got 1/2 our starters suspended for game 6 & 7 of the playoffs, Alonzo Mourning getting a ring on the back of DWade and Shaq when he should never have gotten anything(Ewing deserved it more). Tim Hardaway talking trash just about every opportunity he could against our beloved Knicks, getting LeBron over us, and a few more I can't recall at the moment.

It's really quite simple. knicks have a long standing rivalry with the Heat, Pacers, Celtics, Nets, Bulls, and maybe throw in the Rockets in there for good measure.

How do you tell someone that they are not a fan?!!! I was there in the 90's when we pretty much beat the Heat in every playoff series except for one when played at a disadvantage because of the Charlie Ward/PJ Brown fight. I've been a fan of the Knicks since 82-83 when I was finally old enough to follow and really understand the game. However, I started playing basketball when I was 3, before I new what a Knick was, thus I was also a fan of the game. I admired and respected talent. Wanted to improve my game so I watched the best players so I could learn or just watch a good game. So even as I lived and died with Truck Robinson, Sly Williams, and Bernard King, as a kid I was still a fan of Dr J. Who the hell wasn't? The guy was amazing. Yet, the Sixers beat our arses all the time back then and when the Knicks were eliminated from the playoffs or playoff contention, I didnt turn off the tube. I was upset my team lost, but I still wanted to watch good basketball. And as a basketball fan, I was happy to see DR.J beat the Lakers wo win his first 'Chip' in 83.

Looking at your list, your basically telling me that you hate the following players:

Hakeem Olajuwon
Clyde Drexler
Sam Cassell
Michael Sugar Ray Richardson
Kenny Anderson
Drazen Petrovic
Derrick Coleman
Reggie Miller
Jermaine O'Neal
Ron Artest
Al Harrington
Mike Dunleavy
Darrin Collison
Larry Bird
Kevin McHale
Derrick Rose
Carlos Boozer
Joakim Noah
Etc.

BTW, I never said I root for any of those teams, only said I respect talent regardless of the uni. Respecting Lebrons talent, and rooting for him to beat my team are two different things.

i have been a diehard Knick fan almost all my life & i hate the Heat more than any other team except for maybe the Celtics... i root for the uniform over the individual players... i absolutely hated guys like Michael Jordan, Tim Hardaway, Reggie Miller, Alonzo Mourning, etc. more than anyone... but if any of those guys ever became Knicks, i would love them, because they're all talented basketball players who won my respect over the years i watched this team battling against them... not sure i'd ever be able to root for Scottie Pippen though... he's just plain ugly.

nah can't agree cause Jordan CHANGED THE GAME. He drew fans into the game who previously had no love for basketball. Had kids in playgrounds across the nation yelling JORDAN when they tried to dunk or swished a shot. You (well at least I) never heard anyone yell Bird after hitting a shot.

Jordan in many ways transcended the game and even die hard Knick fans found themselves seeing something that they had never seen or imagined before.

He was more than just a basketball player........he was a modern day Prometheus, Herculeas, Gilgamesh, a living marvel who men wanted to be and women wanted to be with.

I loathed him during those Knick series but after the game I'd rock my Black Mesh Jordans (not the jersey....never the jersey) and my black air flight sweat suit.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
