It wont kill us if/when he starts playing well.

That's if D'Antoni gives him a chance to play again.

This give him a chance to play rap is tired. He plays, but is not a results type player. No rebounds and a poor defensive effort will keep you on the bench

Okay, so he's a scrub because he hasn't impressed you in his rookie year even though he is a foreigner who barely speaks english.

Cool.

Its pretty simple--Mosgov's contract could impede losing Wilson Chandler. That would be horrific.
If we get rid of these contracts we can sign Melo and retain Chandler. Then these stupid trade 3 starters for melo can go away. I think it would be easier to rid ourselves of these contracts by using the *potential* of Mosgov and Randolph for an ending contract vet who can help now. Id trade both of them with rautins to Houston for Jefferies and a 2011 2nd rounder. We dont need potential anymore--we need players who can go.

Is that u IT?

Superb bench player. Can sub for Melo, Gallo, Amare. Dude can sub anywhere from the 2-5. And he plays offense and defense and can give you a legit 35+ trusted minutes off bench.

If you are still able to retain Turiaf and Moz, that's a nice bench. Just would have to find 3 point specialist and upgrade PG.

Im not down with Mosgov unless proven. Im not down with anyone who cant show up and play without multiple mistakes. No projects right now. If he can get up to snuff by next year proven OK if we have the cap room for a 4th big if hes not ok if his cap room impedes players who can go--then I would not want him at this period of time.

Mozgov's contract is not guaranteed for years 2 and 3.

Edit: Actually, I missed that matt beat me to this. Anyway, that's what it is.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

You can get J Jordan in here with two more rookies for positions 13-15 and one vet minimum and it would cost less than Mosgov--hes gone unless a miracle happens with his hands.

I think we keep him as long we can keep the core guys, add Melo and still have cap room left. If his salary is the difference in that, he's gone. He's a project, but lets face it; tons of teams would scoop him up in a heartbeat. He's not polished, but he can definitely play at the NBA level.

That's not worth +3mm when I can have 2 draft picks Jerome Jordan and a vet minimum for the same price. We need higher skilled players at cheap prices. I dont find Mosgov particularly skilled and with bad hands. he certainly is 7-1 and athletic--can hit a few shots but hes just a project thats going to take time maybe 2-3 years. I cant pay someone 3.2mm to sit at the end of the bench anymore.

I think we need to give him some PT. He has oodles of potential and just needs to get burn and some instruction from an assistant coach. Why do we have an issue with re-signing Chandler. Don't we have his Bird rights? Signing Melo will put us near or over the cap. We should be able to pay Wilson whatever we need to pay to retain him, no?

Rautins isn't even guaranteed for this year either if I remember correctly.

These guys are really not preventing you from doing anything. Wilson is probably out anyway if we follow the Phoenix model because the wings always look great as long as they have decent talent in the MikeD system.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
