He can go to the Nets and suck ass with Devin "I'm injured every year" Harris and Mr. Softy Brooke (yes, I know it's Brook) Lopez.

well, if Melo does end up on the Nets at least we can all be united in hating his guts for the next several years.

i don't know what's so funny about that... Melo took a 17 win Denver team to the playoffs his rookie season.

Melo on a team with Lopez, Humphries, and Harris has a lot of potential to go far in the playoffs in my opinion. The Nets need a guy who is used to and expects to win. They also need a draw. Melo could fill both of these roles for them.

it wouldn't be bad. though every nets trade i've seen has them giving up devin harris to get melo.

and it still wouldn't be as good as felton/melo/amare.

to be fair, they didn't really go anywhere with him on the team. they made it out of the first round one time.

i think melo is a good fit here... but i'm unsure about giving up the farm for him.

Example:
Melo for Favors, Murphy, and Picks
Harrington for Vujanic (I dont believe he can be in a re-packaged unless it is a one for one trade)

Nets still have Lopez, Outlaw, Harris, Petro, and Humphries plus a few picks to play with.

You never know who is made available.

I live in Denver and have seen Melo play his whole career here. But don't take my word for it. All the more astute basketball people
in Denver acknowledge that Melo can do one thing and that is score. However, he is incapable of doing ANYTHING else very well. He is
strictly a one dimensional player who has been incapable of taking his team deep into the playoffs despite numerous opportunities. The
Nuggets have had a lot more talent than the Nets have. You put him on a bad Nets team and they won't improve that much.
