right now, MVP seems to be the most likely... i don't see Fields winning ROY as good as he's played... i think that's gonna be a 2 horse race between Wall & Griffin this year.

if there basing it on stats, then yeah, those 2 are front runners, but wall has been in an out of the line up, and the wiz and clips stink.

pop hasn't really done much, his team wins 50+ every year, and he has 3 all stars..that doesn't make you coy.....Mean while Amare is doing it big big big, quite frankly if he wasn't here, we would be struggling to make .500..And if it's a numbers game, then why not throw in Kevin love's name.

As of now Popivich is COY. Same main cast, changes the style of play a bit, adapts to the game some and has Spurs as best team in the NBA
We have to play someone off the bench to have a 6th man
Walsh could win exec of the year.. thats got a shot

What I would like to see is Felton make first or second team all NBA defense. That would be really cool

He couldn't guard Lawson at all yesterday. That was a bit scary.

So true And Lawson had no J.

Maybe this is what they were talking about against Jameer Nelson.

Then you should know the only one that has a chance of happening is Amare for MVP.

I can see amare at this rate the MVP

Dantoni has a shot at coach of the year, especially if knicks get close to 50 games

Fields will not win rookie of the year over the "ringer" blake griffin.. although You can make a good case for him.. Just won't happen tho..

MIP: I can see felton, he is making a huge leap, but so has hibbert... but for the love of god, take chandlers name out.. I can see why anubis said get league pass..... chandler has slightly improved but not nearly enough for anyone outside of NY to notice.... Jeez.... way overboard with the chandler stuff.... this guy is not a blip on anyone's radar outside of NY..

TD as 6th man? come on.. I like TD, but not even close. He would have to catch fire and stay on fire to even get mentioned..

D'Antoni coach of the year, ftw. Amar'e, I would love to see an MVP, but it's not happening with all the other jokers around the L with better name recognition. Two more boards a game and he's up there, I don't see the dunces who decide this going for it.

Coach Miike coach of the year, ftw.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Chandler can get the MIP. Chandler is on his way to becoming an allstar. Stop hating on Chandler.

I'm just saying, at the rate were going, and if we ended up winning more then 50 games, it will be because of all of the above if we stay as is.

The Bulls during their 72 win season had
MVP - Jordan
Coach of the year - Jackson
6th Man of the year - Kukoc
Executive of the year - Jerry Krause

2 All NBA 1st team members - Jordan, Pippen
3 All Defense 1st team - Jordan, Pippen, Rodman

And Finals MVP - Jordan

which is also far fetched since we'd need to win like 50games for him to be considered. TD is not winning 6th man (chandler might have had he stayed a bench guy). He's too inconsistent offensively.

Landy may come in 2nd in the rook running but no way he beats out Griffith UNLESS he gets reinjured.
Wall isn't a threat.....kid can't shoot or dribble to the side. Strictly north to south with the dribble right out in front.

Coach of the year and Exec of the year I believe are in the bag for Walsh and D'Antoni

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Thats true, but im just speaking on what we could possibly be on pace to accomplish...

There's no reason Fields and Blake can't be name co-roy...fields is the #1 rebounding guard in the league, 8rbs from a guard is equal to 20 points from a guard..

blake is a high light reel, there's no substance in his game, and is completely lost on defense, except for an occasional block. I haven't seen a dunk that won a game for them, or some clutch FT's, maybe a key block to win a game. all i see is highlight dunks with them being down double digits

Fields on the other hand has played winning basketball, and has made some major clutch plays, Ft's, steals, putbacks, 3's.

If this award goes to the guy with the fancy dunks and the guady #s, then what does this say about the league, is that what there trying to develope, is that whats important.

Blake is a sick sick player. He's an impact player. I can see him demanding double teams very very soon. He's also a great passer.

Fields has a better outside shot than him... but not by much. Griffin's jumper is pretty pure.

Only downside to Blake is he doesn't block the ball that well given his jumping ability, but that's really nitpicking compared to all the things he brings to the table.

Wall is a very fast point guard/Derrick Rose type (jumper sorta sucks, passing is good not great)... I'm not sure why folks are enamored with him... at this point I'd prefer Fields over Wall.. but Blake over either by a mile.

Rose is not the answer.

We like Fields because he is a Knick, but Fields is the 4th option on this team and gets his points mostly on cuts to the basket and open jumpers. He rebounds great for a guard, but you have to remember this guy played PF in college. He is used to getting rebounds for his team, which is a mentality that most guards don't have. Griffin will soon be demanding double teams and is his teams second option and he is having 30 point games. Unless Griffin gets hurt, there is no competition here. The fact that a second round pick would even place 2-3 in the rookie of the year voting is an incredible feat in itself. But Fields is not winning ROY or co-ROY.

Trust the Process

what does it matter what fields did in college, this is the NBA and he rebounds better then any guard in the league, he's rebounding better then most SF..that doesn't count for anything. he's already rank 2nd amongst rookies, i dont think it's as 1 and 2 are that far apart..This isn't a popularity thing were fans vote for rooike of the year..when all is said and done I think impact far out weieghs style. The dude can't guard no big in the game

As far as franchise improvement the greatest jump I remember is the Spurs when they drafted Duncan and got Robinson back from injury. They went from winning the lottery to winning the championship.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18
Has it ever happen where one franchise produce so much in one season....
