I think you fail to realize how good Amare is making Felton look. Think Duhon and Lee. If you have a guy to feed that has GREAT hands you are going to get assists.

Felton needs to calm down and play smarter. Dude is making bad decisions at the end of games and it is becoming annoying.

you say this just after Felton just carried the Knicks for a half while Amare was in foul trouble.

Holy crap.

This shouldn't even have been a game. Amare carried this team in the 4th by dropping 18 pts.

the only reason it WAS a game was because Felton carried the team in the first half with 20 points.

Man, take your negativity and go watch Jennings suck as a PG.

that's true, but a good portion of those 4th quarter points that Amare got were on the receiving end of dish offs by Ray Felton... i think i heard Breen say he had 4 assists going into the 4th quarter & he eventually finished with 11... that means he was directly responsible for at least 14 points in that 4th quarter other than the points he scored himself... that's coming up BIG for your team in crunchtime dude... plus he hit the game winning 3 pointer in the closing seconds... he was just as responsible for this win as Amare was IMO.

Amare would make any point guard look better, but Ray Felton is good on his own. He's stepped his game up since coming to New York.

Im not saying Felton is not a solid PG. Im saying this praise should be given to Amare who has really been in beast mode. 18pts in the 4th is what got us the win.

bro, i am not begrudging Amare any credit whatsoever... i only posted this thread to man up that i was wrong for bashing Donnie for making that Fishlips trade... it turned out nicely for us... we are looking like we won't have to give up that swap pick this year to Houston afterall, so basically we gave up a 2012 1st round pick & Jordan Hill for Ray Felton & Timo Mozgov... i think that's a good trade off at this point whether Mozgov ever turns into an NBA player or not.

you could say amar'e didn't start beasting this season until ray figured it out. you could say ray didn't figure it out until amar'e started beasting.

either way, we haven't had a record like this since 2000-01.

either way, we haven't won 11 out of 12 since 94-95.

either way, we haven't have a knick score 30+ in 6 straight games since 61-62!!!

just sit back and enjoy it.

this is a logical and rational post. I would encourage you to save that type of post for others, as anubis is pretty much here to chap others' asses and stink up the joint with his piss and vinegar

Thanks for the heads up

Felton is the best point guard we've had here since the days of Mark Jackson/Derek Harper.

I've been saying the same thing, re Derek Harper. Reminds me of Derek a lot. Great steady leader, plays well on both sides of the ball, and clutch. Love it.
