I think its a *factor* both ways. We clearly rely on space for our offense. We are among league leaders in point in the paint, FT attempts and #2 in PPS (point per possession).Panos I agree about the #s smokescreen. If Gallo hits his first 2 3's does that mean we win???
I think these types of #s do emphasize how important the outside shooting is to our total offense, and Gallo is the key guy to that attack, or certainly relied on to be the most consistant
I think the way to summarize this is: when the Knicks' third scoring option performs, the Knicks win; when the Knicks third scoring underperforms, the Knicks lose
