If we are talking offensive skills in the post, Barron is a midrange jump shooter, based on what I saw last year. I still wanted us to pick him up, though.

very very very strange that the Knicks didn't give a look. what can you say, could mean there was something else going on.

Just read that Boone's playing in China at the moment -- not sure how long their season is over there or if he can get out of that contract. If he can, I'm interested. I'm glad he's playing though -- that means he's keeping himself in shape. He'll be back in the NBA soon -- just a matter of where.

Mosgov--wait 50 games and he might give us 4-3

MDA thinks Randolph belongs in the high school game of the week

Turriaf is not going to be reliable

There was a set there in the 2nd where we played no post and most teams usually go 2 big

We have the length on the perimeter to get rebounds but we need another guy who can score rebound run and be physical. No way we can get Thompson or Landry(or someone like that)? Were going to run Amare into the ground and eventually not get away with playing just 1 post all game long--who can play

We had a great offseason

we might've got the best player in the nBA
and we got a PG who is up there with anyone in this league

we made good deals for randolph and masgov but they arent working out for this team. We cant do a deal for randolph in a 3 way???

It's too early to write off AR. Camby was in the exact same position during the 1998-99 season and we all know how that turned out. Landry is like Gary Trent 2.0. Solid player, but no one to obsess over.Jason Thompson is a solid rebounder, but he doesn't really block shots and he's not really a banger. Thompson might help, but how many minutes would he see playing behind Amar'e?

get a PnR player.

I think Lee would've played well next to Amare but we really needed to get that PG.

You still talking about a point guard? I'm with Briggs....Knicks need to give Amar'e and turiaf some real eloquence off the bench. Eddy curry could be that Guy but the Knicks would be better off looking to move some guys to get a legit rotation player...Mosgov is not ready yet but he will in tbr future. Randolph is a
Bum. Knicks need to find insurance

Loo0king at the clip-Dwayne Jones is a no brainer, a sure shot all star but then so was AR judging from his clips.

I would target Flynn, Sessions and Maynor for backup PnR guards.

For bigs I still think Randolph has the ability in him, but assuming he can't, I like Larry Sanders, Mullens, but its going to be tougher to find a cheap and effective big. We're ultimately going to be better off trying to get what we can out of Randolph and Moz.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Randolph isnt playing for the Knicks--I think ever. Mosgov is not a short term answer and no other projects--proven commodities at this point.

Nah I'm saying it was more important that we signed a PG (Felton) than keep Lee.

To make the 4-1 set work--you need a post who cans core. What is does is spreads out the offense giving the post room and the wings the ability to catch and shoot or slash with space. We have guys who cans core the ball--that's why I said we dont need to spend 25mm on C Anthony--but we do need another post who can score. I brought up Thompson and Landry's name becasue they were not playing and would be nice picks up for that second big(moving turriaf to third big)who can score becasue they are proven in the post. Because Turriaf does not score--it does not work as well with him because they can lay off him. But he still is able to give us the option to go two big which is also important.
