Eddy is on the team and so long as he is, I want to see him become of some use to us. Either on the court or in a trade. I'm hopeful that he can get on the court and help. We may dislike him for all the embarrassment he's put us thru, but he's still a big body that could help us or someone else and if Mike can get anything positive out of him it just might convince someone to take him. There are so few bigs in the league that you just never know who might be desperate enough to take him.

We need him against teams like Orlando, Boston, Lakers. Big teams.

I think thats the right attitude. Obviously his time here was an epic joke, but he's here. Lets see if he can help... with anything

I want to see Eddy be an near allstar performaer. I watch the Moz, I watch the Turiaf, and then I remember the Sloth that was eddy.

Eddy is out of shape. Eddy has 10 games in two yers, Eddy don't play Defense, Don't block shots even when he was at his best. He don't rebound much either.

Eddy was top 5 player in the low post and unstoppable. But he don't play defense, don't rebound and he don't block shots.

Eddy pulls and strains unused muscles. Eddy don't play.

I only want Eddy to perform well because it would help my team. Don't give a frig about him otherwise.

I kind of hate myself for feeling this way but, no matter how he performs, I hope NO ONE is fool enough to offer him a contract next season.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Eddy is a another big body to put in there against the bigger teams. Last time we tried to force him in and it hurt us, but this time he's a bit player off the bench. There could be some benefit if he's in their with the 2nd unit and can go against the other teams 2nd unit. I doubt that there would be anyone that could stop him in the paint. Plus he could give us another 6 fouls against big teams. He doesn't have to be great, just be a big body that has to be dealt with. Teams won't be able to just ignore him under the basket, so even as a distraction he could be helpful on the 2nd unit. Funny thing is he's still the only true post up player we have.

We know it's a long shot, but what do we have to lose by taking a look at him? On the court or in a trade, it doesn't matter to me. So long as he can offer some value.

since curry has played so few games, his body does not have wear and tear on it, he could pick up where he left off.. he knows how to beast. i never doubted his skill. over-eating though is therapeutic you trying to fix something with food. dont know what he is trying to fix, but thats the part that needs fixing.

Papabear Says

Yum Yum I'll take that. Papabear is not in training so may I have a burger and fries with a diet coke.

Never quite understood the logic there....2000 calorie burger and 4-500 in fries and your going to skimp on the coke?

I know Eddy is probably done and I have no expectations for him. However, this quote from D'Antoni bothers me regarding the longest tenured Knick. I don't think Eddy was ever a part of D'Antoni's plans regardless of health.

“I’m not going to give up a couple games just to work guys back in that I don’t know ... If it was Raymond [Felton] or Amar’e [Stoudemire], sure you do. But you just don’t know.”

Mike tried that before and it backfired as it killed the good flow that the team had when he forced Curry into the mix.

What part of the 29 win season good flow did he ruin?

Whether it can be made to work- I would love to see the Curry we had 1 year under brown where he was 19 & 7 and shot .576.

Clearly, he wouldn't be able to put up those kinds of numbers on a consistent basis, but if he could give us the odd game where he went off for 20 and banged down low, that would be awesome.

Those number that Curry put up were under Isiah. He would be a threat at Center but asking him to be healthy is the main concern unreliable. If he can play something like Kendrick Perkins it would be great once again that would be asking for a lot from Curry who probably will take the easy way out.

eddie put those numbers up under long beach's own larry brown cousin of arnold hittleman

If you did the pick-n-roll with Eddy 5 times he would have 5 offensive fouls.

You don't remember how the team was going good and then Mike tried to insert Curry and it totally messed up the way the team was playing? It's all relative. GOOD for what that team was capable of doing. IT did happen, whether you remember it or not.
