you can't have 2 alpha dogs in the same pack... 1 of them will eventually have to defer to the other in order for that team to win championships... even when Shaq & Kobe were together, Shaq was the dominant one & Kobe deferred... that clash of egos eventually led to the breakup of their dynasty team, but they were able to make it work while they were together... it remains to be seen whether Lebron & Wade can make this work... IMO if they ever want to win a championship together, then Wade is going to have to defer to Lebron as the alpha dog, cuz Lebron is incapable of deferring to anyone, his ego is way too massive.

kobe and shaq didn't play the same position and didn't have almost identical styles.

well yeah, that's pretty obvious... that makes it even the more imperative that either Lebron or Wade defers to the other in order for those guys to make it work over there in Miami... to have 2 guys trying to dominate the ball on very possession will never work.

i think the only way for it to really work in Miami is for DWade to defer to Lebron. Lebron is the better player. Wade has to admit it and turn the team over to him and focus on defense and ball distribution.

I'd also add that Shaq & Kobe were at different stages of their career, and it was when Kobe came into is own that it became unworkable.

Wade & Lebron are also too close in age for this to work.

I've got to imagine Lebron thinks he's better than Wade, but he has to defer because it's Wade's team.

Great question. Hard to tell, maybe too soon to tell. It still could work out (hope it doesn't) but if Lebron ends up having any regrets it may be that Wade and Bron should have swapped Bosh for a better PG and used some of savings to get a decent big man.

Now he would decide to come to NY.

LeBron just got his first life's lesson. He's been a spoiled kid his entire life, thinking the world was his and he was God. Now he is growing up and this will benefit LeBron for the rest of his life.

Yes, and I love that Miami is losing so many games.

i don't see bosh as the culprit. if bosh were in ny he would fit well, because ny has a system to fit him in. that is what bosh needs, iso-superfriends theme not working for him.

lebron needs a system as well but he needs one built around him, as the franchise player. crown lebron as franchise player of the heat, then trade wade to add players that compliment lebron.

riley (gods willing) will never do that, superfriends will stay together all season, and the knicks will be toastin and boastin on em.

Yeah, he'd do it again. A douche is a douche, and this particular one would still have taken his vagina to South Beach.

if his season goes down in flames, he should fire his friends and hire old people with old sounding last names. cause if you chasing a billion dollar basketball dream, being a douche at the wrong time doesnt help.

he would have been given the douche label signing with ny too, for leaving cleveland, but at least in ny the risk/reward fits his dream. miami was such a stupid move even chicago would have been the smart move. meh he is a millionaire he will be all right but he sure side tracked himself. it happens.

Knowing what we know now, would you guys even want him around here? I know we've been losing for so long, but this guy is just such a monumental tool. And a proven quitter.

Sorry, but I sort of prefer watching a team playing with balls for an eighth seed right now, pulling for guys with heart like STAT and Felton and Fields and setting ourselves up to hopefully land someone of better quality than King James of Doucheington.

(And look what he's done to Wade, who's already taken a dump on his coach in public. The man is a corrosive influence.)

this could be faded lebron bandwagonism on my part but i see wade as the culprit. wade should of taken on the responsibility of point guard, went in before season start and say coach i want to be the floor general all season, lebron and bosh would have made that job sooooo easy for him. instead you see iso-wade, and its a fail.

As far as miami I don't care. I don't even watch them. Isolation ball is boring and when they go into over passing polite ball (Even dream teams do this) its just plain boring.

Teams I like to watch are the Spurs who has Quiet Tim but two sub alphas in Parker and Manu. Kobe and his Lakes are also fun to watch. PHX previous was fun except during the Terry Porter era.

Why? Ball movement!

Problem I see is Lebron is both a facilitater and a finisher cuz he is that good.

I will Watch Superfriends on Thurs!

haha what a soap opera, welcome heat to knicks circa 2006, trust me heat it just gets worse.

once that backbiting gossip to reporters starts, breaks the trust and it just gets worse.

I wouldn't get to worked up over the heat they are doing just what the Knicks did the year they made the run to the finals. NYK had a stacked roster that was underachieving you could say the same for the Heat. I think the Knicks added a lot of players that year Spree and Camby. The team struggled to mesh and they didn't hit their stride until the playoffs.

i feel for spoelstra not because he is a stella coach. nba tends to cycle through old head coaches and retired allstar players.

so spoelstra is lucky to be a head coach without that on his resume.

God I hope so. I'm one who is on record here not wanting him from day 1.

I still see him leaving Cleveland and the memories of West bending Gloria's ass over.

he comes across more like an LA dude and it is now pretty obvious that the NY magnifying glass would have burned his prissy ass.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
