I'm hoping that the there is enough bad karma surrounding the team to keep them from winning anything this year, though.

Agreed

I love the fact that Miami will not win **** this year!

Of course they're not. The Lakers are three-peating.

They didnt build a team--they put three big name players together with a thin roster that doesnt fit.
They have nothing to improve the team--well unless they trade one of the big 3.

I would do Fields TD and Chandler for Lebron

Might have to throw in Curry to balance out the salaries.

How much better would Miami have been if they had taken the money they used for Bosh and signed someone like Drew Gooden or David Lee in addition Raymond Felton?

Why would we want to import the hate? Oh, wait, I forgot who our owner is...

Meahme has all the makings of the greatest clusterfark in NBA history.
So what happens first,
1)Riley coaches
2)trade Rupaul
3)Lebro and/or Waddy undergo season-ending microfracture surgery

This has the making of the Olojuwan/Barkley/Pippen Rockets.

Bad comparison; they were all past their primes.
I think that was Drexler's last season, too, wasn't it?

I would have rather paid Joe Johnson than Bosh, thats how overrated Bosh is imo. If we had left Lee walk and came away with Bosh that would have been the worst possible scenario and probably ended my Knicks fandom for a longtime.

I disagree. I dont think you realize what is making Bosh seem ineffective. Wade is a ball stopper who cant shoot with any consistency. Lebron and Bosh are a better fit than Lebron and Wade. I actually see Wade being slid to PG once Miller comes back.

Felton would look like complete trash in Miami. He'd NEVER have the ball in his hands to do anything. Miami needs a shooter at PG.

David Lee would could collect splinters because Haslem and Joel Anthony would be eating David Lee alive at the defensive end.

what is Bosh doing defensively for the Heat that Lee wouldn't be able to do? Lee can rebound, something that Bosh is not doing.

I thought Pippen and Hakeem still had something in their tanks. Barkley was already in a decline. Was Drexler there too?

Bosh isn't Garnett in the paint but he is an upgrade over David Lee defensively. I have seen his make some solid defensive plays this season. I never see David Lee make defensive plays. Bosh is rotating out on guys even if it put him out of position for a rebound something David Lee rarely did.

Miami isn't concerned with guys putting up stats. Miami is trying to win a championship.

Bosh is averaging 17 and 7 with great percentages and his TO's are down. With the injury to Haslem I see his production going up further.

Bosh's production might go up, but he's going to have to play a lot more defense and hit the boards a lot harder.

Haslem is a huge loss for Miami. I'm guessing they'll sign Dampier soon.

Miami's problem is not Bosh's defense. They have no cohesive unit at the moment. You have guys in and out of the lineup when they are trying to build chemistry.
