I read the article and I think Marbury actually made some good points. I'm not sure the Knicks have the collection of players that can support a high pace offense. Landry Fields has the IQ for it.... Turiaf... Felton can handle the ball and score (but his court vision isn't all that great)... then who else to space the floor?

Last season D'Antoni had some success when he realized Duhon couldn't handle a high pace and slowed the game down. We should probably do the same with this team. I don't think we have the players to do it.

Rose is not the answer.

I like the Marbury persona better now that he's no longer a Knick.

I agree. I'm curious to find out what Lee Nailon and Howard Eisley's opinions of this team are.

Last season D'Antoni had some success when he realized Duhon couldn't handle a high pace and slowed the game down. We should probably do the same with this team. I don't think we have the players to do it.

we have Ray Felton, a PG who excels in the open floor uptempo style attacking the basket
we have Amare Stoudamire, a premier bigman in the NBA at running the floor & finishing
we have Wilson Chandler, Anthony Randolph, Bill Walker & Landry Fields, 4 athletic wings who are good at slashing to the rim & finishing on the break (when Buike comes back, make that 5)
we have Toney Douglas, a ball hawking G that gets steals in the backcourt & is a 1 man fastbreak waiting to happen on every possession

i don't know why you think we don't have the players to handle a high pace game... the only slow lumbering guys we have on this roster are Mozgov, Turiaf & Gallo.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I have a federal APB posted for Shandon Anderson's take, provided I don't find Keith Van Horn first.

markvmc, you need some serious humor counseling.

My main man Marbs. LOL you go boy!! LOL
Why do you guys go crazy about Marbs?? He is what he is and
he is now gone. Berman puts up that story because he knows it will
drive you crazy. And it does. You know what Marbs is about so don't
let him drive you crazy. LOL

I wasn't upset by it in the least. I actually thought the article was funny

Personally I know exactly what Berman is doing because that's what he does with every article. That's how he makes his money, by stirring things up. He's not really a basketball reporter.
