Like clyde, most former players become TV anouncers, or analyst for there former teams, herb has made it through mutiple regimes, and 100's of players...lol
It's one of two things.
1.) Either he has someone in the front office that loves him and will never let him go
2.) Or he's a damn good coach and that's why people keep him around
Either way, we don't know, so it's tough to cast judgement.
you would hope it's because of his knowledge, and people skills, but at the same time, those are qualities of a good head coach. He's been pass on twice (during 2 interview attemps) overlook the other 4 times altogther..
The funny thing is, he should be the one next to Breen, and clyde should be in his positon
