"Despite everything, the Knicks have shown promise. They are among the league leaders in steals and blocks, and at times play inspired defense. Although they fell behind by 19 points on Wednesday, they just as quickly erased the deficit. Had the offense been better down the stretch, they might have won the game." - Howard Beck, NYT
loweyecue - totally agree. A little love is never a bad thing but C'mon Son!
That slurp fest on Wednesday was WAY over the top and you know it.
As much as Al Harrington made his wish to return home apparent when he was with he Pacers, embraced the city when he finally arrived, and played his heart out when he was on the court wearing a Knicks uni...there is not one ounce of remorse for his departure. Not an ounce. And I loved David Lee from draft night, when nearly everyone was scratching their heads about Isiah's selection at 30.
It's time to let go of the less-than-glorious past with good guys David Lee, Malik Rose, Jared Jeffries and good guys Frank and Scott Layden. Sure Lee was a great citizen, but if we are giving out citizenship awards lets not overlook the new Knicks who make appearances, sign autographs and who are good guys off the court.
Want good citizens?
Let's start with Ray Felton, Amar'e, Landry Fields, Timofey Mozgov, Toney Douglas and Gallo. Let's talk about Anthony Randolph.
