The only thing I have against Gus is that in the preseason previews he had so much makeup on he looked like a tranny. I'm not sure the MSG makeup folks understand that they're broadcasting in HD. Other than that... great broadcaster.

This seems less and mistake than a pure business decision. If Gus was making his other gigs a bigger priority, the folks at MSG have every right to make a change for someone that puts the Knicks and their games first. Gus was fine, but Marv and Walt Clyde is the best tandem the Knicks ever had.

I love Marv and Clyde but Marv and Johnny Hoops was broadcasting gold.
