You can't blame a coach for a losing season and then take credit away from that same coach when his team wins

I think his Phoenix team won despite him because of the amount of talent that he had. I think that might have been the case here as well if he had LBJ with Amare. He is in a situation this year where he has talent that can achieve if they are coached and managed correctly. It will be interesting to see how he does this year.

Crush can you name a team that wins 55+ games without having stars on it? The world of hoosiers does not exist. There is no coach out there that is consistently shocking the world by overachieving with bad talent. A great coach can get you from bad to mediocre, from mediocre to good or from good to great. But no nba coach is going into a situation with awful players and turning them into consistent winners.

I just hope that people will like me

What encourages me about this team now, and about the abilities of Amare Stoudemire, is what the Suns did last season and how they were a suprise team. Yes they had Nash, but Stouedmire was the most dominant force the second half of the season. Nash is hard to replace, but besides him the Knicks have the other pieces and maybe more talent. I hope i'm wrong, but Felton may not be the answer, he may just be an upgraded stopgap. I know Walsh is holding out for Paul, but Parker might be the closest thing to Nash that is attainable. I am encouraged that with the development of Gallo and AR behind the leadership and star power of Parker and Stouedmire, we can replacate that style of team and at least get to the eastern conference finals against Miami and go from there. In terms of replacating MDA's old suns teams, we would need to add another star, and really hope Gallo and AR turn into all-stars. I'm not concerned about who starts at center because Mozgov and Turiaf offer the size we need at center to complete, and what we have lacked, but neither is playing more than 15-20 mins per game anytime soon. The key for us is to add another star and develop the talent, but it all has to come together at some point. But we need another star badly. Hopefully it is Melo, and if not, we can't wait around trying for Paul or Williams. We have to act and hopefully get Parker.

You're right. Chances are we're going to use a small ball line up for the most part anyway. As for Turiaf, he's slow, but he's still pretty mobile for a center. Her should be able to beat most of the league's 5s down the floor.

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

Why?

We need to set a strategy in motion and just roll with it. In with the young--out with the old

In Fields starting 3 out Gallo to mobile 4(hey Gallo read KD statements today when he said he doesnt go out the night before a game---live it.
In Rautins--deserves a chance with a good showing but must continue out Mason went downhill in SA and looks even worse right now Duhon from the SG.
In faster pace out clogging the offensive lane
In Amare @ C out shtty non skilled player @ 5

The watch is on Felton and Douglas---let the best man start.

21-4
