Dude are u Frank Williams girlfriend or his agent. He riding the pine cause thats were he belongs. Steph is gonna play 40 min a game. does it really matter if moochie or frank gets the other 8 min. Is that gonna make some great difference in the game. Frank williams will be traded soon. So please get your tissues ready now you can cry a river. Frank Willliams has shown flashes in very limited time, he has proved nothing in the NBA. Steph is a STAR get over this trade already. You dont not pass up a trade for a major star in the NBA cause a player had a couple of good plays. I can only hope you get some pleasure out of playing devils advacate on this website cause you cant possible be this misinformed about b-ball.

playa,,

I dont need to post to read. I was hanging around here way before the first 4 game winning streak. This streak is much different IMO.

Also your sig. says Frank is getting the shaft because of "Ticket Sales" then your post says hes getting the shaft playing behind Moochie Norris. DO you really think Moochie sells that many tickets? hmmmmm.. I know everytime I'm in the Garden people say the only reason they bought there tickets were to see Moochie play his 7 min. a game. Worth the price of admission everytime. Come on man be consistant and change that sig.

Are you that slow? Frank is the middle child now(forgotten), once he was touted as being the next "clyde frazier" in starting lineup(not flashy like starbury) and now he's behind Norris. Marbury signing was the answer to a few things Ticket sales,he alsohas superior point guard skillz(+ been in the league longer than Frank.) Frank gets that shaft because of this being a business.... get a clue!

seriously, is this FWill's Mom?

I have never seen a Knicks fan argue so vehemently about a trade that is so much in the Knicks' favor.

FWill and the team were groovin' for a 4 game stretch, but Houston and KVh as your #1 & #2 option is not going to get you that far. Maybe the 7th or 8th seed in the East. Maybe. And _maybe_ Frank grows into the position in a year to 2, but there is only about a 1% chance that he will be anything near what Marb current is.

Another thing: 4 games does not make a career or even a season. Nor does it garuantee playing time, see R Murray of the Sonics.

Playa... um, pardon me but whats your point? Are you saying we arent very good? That we shouldnt be excited? I dont get your post.

Personally I'm excited our team is built around a 26 year all star PG and not around a 30 plus PF and SG with bad knees.

I'm excited we have a GM that admits his roster still needs upgrading and doesnt just regurgitate "we like our team" anytime someone asks him about making changes.

I'm excited that every night we have a matchup thats going to favor us. That everynight late in games *WE* finally have a guy other teams are scared of.

I'm excited our GM and coach have been NBA champs and know what it takes to win a title, and the kind of players that are needed to do that, and the drive to go out and get those players.

If none of these things excite you there's a 14 year old girl that plays golf really good... maybe you should follow her instead of the Knicks.

Even after all our bad contracts expire... we will still have Marbury! He's going to retire a Knick... He dream in life was to play for this team... We were very fortunate to be able to pry him away from Phoenix. Even if you were one of the many fans hoping for a rebuild... we can ultimately do that with this team... we can trades those expiring contracts as they come up year after year for good talent from teams looking to cut salary. We have a GM who is actually respected around the league, not shunned by other GMs like Layden was. Thomas can actually make things happen. We have a real coach with real experience. And we are now stacked at the PG position that we can actually fathom the luxary of trading away a good up and coming player in Frank williams. Everything is actually coming together for us.. A shame we don't have Sprewell to run with Marbury on breaks... But I am happy at least Van Horn is contributing. I think it's quite obvious what Playa's strategy is.. Disagree with the concensus.. bring up redundant points... and hope that all of us focus on rebutting his absurd statements..

I am glad to see you are all catching on to this mental midget, playa. He has been doing this for years now here and other Knicks forums. It is about being noticed. He has a severe self-confidence problem and needs the attention.

Obviously, FWILL was playing well. Its too bad it took NON CHANEY so long to make him the starter, otherwise he would have more of a resume to keep at least the backup job. His lack of development can be pinned directly to Chaney. I recall in the beginning of the year, when some of use wanted FWILL, Sweets and Lampe to get burn, Playa defended Chaneys playing of Ward, Eisley, Spoon and Othella because he had to win (our point was that with Chaney they would never win anyway so why bother?). Now he wants Fwill to play over a proven backup PG and a top 3 PG? Its Laugh out loud ridiculous and he should be ignored.

When NY was down with LAYDEN, CHANEY and company, he wanted us to believe in a dead and pathetic team counting on a hurt DICE , Eisley and Ward. Now that NY has shed those dead weights, he doesn't want to see that the darkness has been lifted and this team really can be decent now! Why? It proves he was all wrong again about JVG, Chaney, Layden and now IT and Wilkens!!!

Great post, Vector. You deconstructed the Knicks and Playa in one fell swoop.

The follow-up was solid too, GoNY!

We really should just concentrate on how the Knicks are winning and let the haters and provocateurs run their mouths on their own. The veteran postas know what's what, and the noobs will follow our lead.

Another thing we can focus on is what the Knicks' next move will be. KVH is about to be traded. I am interested in speculating on who we'll get back for him.

From here on in, let's get the discussions going in a positive direction. There has been SO much happening over the last month that would make any real Knicks fan feel that there's reason to hope again. Anyone not intelligent enough to realize that needs not to be heard or acknowledged to begin with.

The Knicks are back in a big way. As far as I am concerned, anyone hating what's going on now is really just starving for attention. My Knicks are FINALLY in a good situation. I wanted LayDown and Chaney GONE for a long time (as my posts during that time proved on a consistent basis). Those who nitpick now are for the most part the same ones who backed LayDown & Chaney, who are now perpetually eating their words and can only validate tthemselves by playing the part of antagonist versus all of those who are happy now. IMO, they ate their words, and are still choking on them; all I hear outta them now are the sounds of a gagging, twitching victim of asphyxiation.

Now is the time to get behind our team and ROOT HARD!!! After a long time, we have a real reason to hope again.

hey martin, four games sure might not make a career but it sure should get frank or any young talent for that matter, a shot like flip got or gemaine got, or eric snow got(he's made quite a living), the list goes on.
i am just waiting for a frank trade and i really hope he gets a better chance to show what he has with another team.

I could care less what Frank has to show with any team other than the Knicks: that will just generate "I told you so" and "Knicks dont trade well" mentality.

i'm sure there are others that share my sentiment about frank and have some what become fans of his. as a frank williams fan, i would like him to do well no matter where he goes, just like i wanted camby to do well. the "i told you so" just goes along with being a fan and having an opinion.
btw, how do you get the individual quote?

I welcome your opinion. I want Camby , Spree and any other traded Knick player to be on game. I'm not wishing they do it better anywhere else but New York.

My gut says Frank is gone... but who knows. As for Shandon he's been replaced by Penny, and lets face it thats an upgrade. Shandon is stronger, but Penny is longer, and a much more versatile and rounded player.

This is from the latest Chad Ford article:

For starters, write off the Knicks. Their interest in Crawford has been well publicized the past few days, but an offer of Shandon Anderson and Frank Williams for Crawford and Robinson is exactly the type of offer the Bulls shouldn't be entertaining.

Trust me, Shanderson and FWill are getting shopped.
So are KVH , KT, Sweetney, Deke and Othella. For all we know, Allan Houston could end up shipped out too- for the right player.

playa I didn't even finish reading your garbage, you should not talk, after the knicks won 4 in a row against the bottom feeders of the league, orlando, chicago and miami, and some other scrub team, you were in here flapping your gums about how great the knicks are and how great this team was, don't make me go pull that thread, I will own you if I do... anyway this team this current team which has more talent at least beat teams with .500 records or close to... Stop being foolish, you were the one acting like the 16 year old virgin who just got his first tounge kiss...

I do think that frankie should play over norris, no question about it, and as far as penny goes, he is a breath of fresh air over anderson, I mean penny can post, rebound, score, dribble, pass, he is a competent basketball player, he no longer has the athletic ability that he used to have but his skillset is still there, anderson should only touch the ball after he he fed 5 feet from the hoop for a layup, other than that Anderson is a trainwreck mixed with a plane crash, followed by a earthquake that hits a statium filled with sixty thousand fans.... He is just painful to watch...

Yea some are acting like 16 yr virgins

Although the Knicks are clearly benefiting from the team's recent weak schedule. The run has come with wins over Orlando, Seattle, Chicago and a Vince Carter-less Toronto squad. And some here have the nerve to bring up chaney's 4 game win streak calling it weak. ROFLMAO

"We're not fooled by [the streak]," Wilkens said. (BUT SOME ON THIS FORUM ARE) "We've taken steps in the right direction, but we still have several more steps to take."
