This guy needs to be taken behind the barn and put down.

What a disgrace. Isiah's signature move and our owner is going to bring him back as the gm in two years.

A 25 pound increase. That's just laughable as is his sore hamstring. Can we fine this fat **** for coming to camp out of shape for the 5 season in a row. Seriously what kind of general manager doesn't structure a contract to include a clause for a player like Eddy.

How about teams should display some responsibility and not give out these contracts and be punished, like the Knicks are, for doing so. There's only so much the league can do. Believe it or not, Eddie Curry had a reputation with the Bulls for being lazy and even arrogant and his play, while nice at times, wasn't too impressive consistently.

The Knicks had every way to figure out that this was the type of guy we were getting here. We deserve to pay the price. Heck, I mean that literally, because there were fans and people on this message board that were absolutely dying to get the guy (As well as Crawford believe it or not.)

Funny.

Out 4-6 weeks strained hamstring

Negative Karma

Time to simply remove Eddy Curry from the New Knicks by an means available. The team building and cohesiveness does not need the distraction of Curry in any form or fashion. I don't want him anywhere near the Greenburgh Training Facility, Madison Square Garden or the team bus.

Whatever his personal issues, they obviously have not been resolved to the point he understands the meaning of the word, "job".

I wish him well. He gotta go.

Immediately.

This is like a joke, I mean is it even possible? Can one man get hurt so much?

Why was he even allowed to practice? Why can't Donnie tell him to stay away from MSG and all team facilities?

Eddy Curry is a complete zero in life. What exactly does he provide for society? Eddy Curry will be living under a bridge in Chicago by this time next year. I bet his family and friends are real proud. I'm begging Donnie Walsh to show some respect to the fans and ban this zero from the team.

Please tell me you're joking. The way Eddy Curry has conducted himself and all the money he's stolen, he deserves nothing but the worst. Curry would be stoned in other countries for the bs he's done.

"My prediction:
Eddy Curry will tear a muscle on the second day of camp, he will be out for 4 weeks, he will play less than 10 minutes in one game about the second or third week of the season and tear another or the same muscle, and he will be done for the year."

Predicting Curry will be hut is like predicting that the sun will come out tomorrow.

Yep, and for all his 20 minutes of work for this entire year, Eddy Curry has the privilege of getting $10 million dollars!!

He's probably not really hurt - just really really sore due to him being so out of shape, from the training camp videos I saw Mike D'Antoni really kicked the crap out of the team. I dont think he has a high tolerance for pain which is why he cant push himself to get in shape (a lot of people have this problem).

Anyway - Agreed that he shouldn't be allowed near the team and should be sent home. Disgrace of a professional athlete.

Had enough Melo?

I don't think they have to use Curry as a guy who can play in 10-12 minutes a night if needed--I don't think his body can handle over extension in terms of working out. He just needs to be able to come in and bang for 10 minutes and they should go that way with him if he is to be used at all.

I don't understand why everyone is upset with Eddy Curry. Its as if you guys were expecting something out of him. I for one am very happy that he is hurt at least the Knicks don't have to waste valuable time on him.

Curry = Joke

Pure Waste of Talent. I can only imagine what Big Baby could have done in this league with Curry's body.

I propose that we close this thread, and reopen it when he comes back. That way our comments will be fresh!

I think Big Baby got off to his good start because he "grew up" under KG. Unfortunately, no one took that tough love approach with Curry, and our new guys got here too late.

I think we should just consider his season a success if he does not go into cardiac arrest in front of 19000 people and interrupt a NYK City Dancers routine!
