That dream isn't really too far fetched. Consider:
1. CP3 let the cat outta the bag at Melo's wedding (i.e., they are all buddies)
2. Lebron, Bosh and Wade colluded in much the same way this summer
3. The ECF will be going through Florida for the foreseeable future, thus the need to upgrade to stay relevant
4. These guys get paid SO much money, they can afford to give some up for a chance at grabbing a chip (or three)
5. Winning in NY trumps winning anywhere else (particularly Florida)
If CP3 wants out, he will get out the exact same way as Melo: He will say "take whatever the Knicks offer, or you will be left high and dry in the summer". Gallo + Felton + $3mil + 2014 pick = fair deal if the only other option is bubkis. Most likely by the time CP3 can get out of NO, Felton will have upped his value by playing in the MDA system. And Gallo will be that much closer to becoming the next Dirk (and I mean the sort with a capital "D".)
