hmm...not sure i agree. most proven player, but randolph could easily have a really good season this year.

How good? I personally see Anthony Randolph just taking Jared Jeffries' place and putting up 8-12 ppg, 6-8 rpg AT BEST.

8 points per game? Same guy who avg 11+ in 20 minutes last year or same guy who set the summer league record in the 40 range? Let him play 38 minutes in an open system--I think you will be surprised.

I believe he was being sarcastic as usual on his first comment hence marv reply ^^

You have to think Amar'e Stoudemire, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton and Kelenna Azubuike (when and if he's healthy) will average more points than Anthony Randolph.

I predict that Curry will be injured during media day. The Knicks can't count on him being able to contribute in any positive manner. Gotta go into the season as if he isn't going to be there. As for Azu, I think he will be on and off the injury list all season. Knee surgeries take a while to get use to.

we have a handfull of guys who can go off at any time. Hell, Douglas can give you 20 points off the bench on any night. Douglas, Amare, Gallo, Felton, Randolph and Azu (if healthy) can all put up points in bunches. I dont really care what guy's scoring averages are. What makes this team (potentially) good is you cant shut down one or two guys. Thats why a PG who can get them the ball is so key and why so much depends on Felton, who is pretty solid.

AR is an above the rim player. He just needs to stay healthy not try to do too much and he will help the Knicks bigtime, way beyond whatever stats he puts up.

Azubike is out of camp per the Knicks. This is a very serious injury he has--its the same one Mcdyess had before his knee shattered. I think if he comes back at all--we wont be able to count him in until January or so--maybe 4/10--6/6/10 of the season. Now how do we get Fernandez from Portland within reason?

Funny but a lot of teams seem to want randolph--in this trade rumor--they were not asking for Chandler or Gallo--they were looking for Randolph. Go back and read some stuff on randolph early last year when they said all 29 teams inquired about him. He's got a tremendous amount of talent at both ends--doe sit mean he will be a star--no--can he be a star--yes.
