ok so when they win don't say we only won cos toronto stinks and carter was out. They need to tighen the D..put frank in.
If the knicks win its cause Carter is out and if they lose they really suck cause hey should be able to beat the Raptors without Carter.

Nice run to end the half.

Nicer buzzerbeater from Steph to Allan to close out the half.

We should have ample momentum to start the 3rd quarter.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Man I knew Step would help our offense but next to this extent. His impact has been the same as Kidd's on the Nets. Only we actually have people who can shoot

Now let's close this one, the 4th, out strong...

I hope they all step up.

Some guys may not like Kurt Thomas. But one thing u can't take away from him is that 15ft jumpshot. Its so reliable. I think we take that for granted since we know its reliable. No its not the difference between a win or a loss. But he needs props for consistantly hitting those jumpers that the guards try so hard to create for him.

the one player who I still don't think has gotten into the flow since all of the trades is Penny. I like him, but he has not stepped up like I thought he could.

Some players need more time than others to acclimate. We can't hold Penny to Starbury's standards and expectations. Penny is doing a solid job so far.

This was a nice win. I'm happy about it but still a little unsure about this team. We still need a low post but Stephon really makes a huge difference. I would've been a lot more content if they had beaten the Raptors while Carter played.

Positive things:
1) Houston played a lot harder on defense this game than I have seen him play for a while.
2) Timeley substitutions by Lenny Wilkins
3) Limited use of Shandon Anderson.
The knicks just seem to have a lot of firepower all of a sudden. Being a big supporter of this new look knicks I'm surprised that I am not delighted by this win. They beat a good team tonite but I want to see them beat New Jersey before I can be totally content.

Penny sucks. Thats why he isnt stepping up - cause he cant. He was doing bad a bad team, and you guys want him to do good on a team full of talent? Cmon..

I said it before and i'll say it again: Penny sucks. His contract is too big to keep him as bench support.

I dont expect penny to score 19 points a game ever again. What he is doing now is perfectly fine. Hitting some postup shots and doing a little of everything and playing great D.

We're a half game away from the 8th seed!

Take it easy guns. Penny needs to do a little better. I'm not saying he is doing bad but u have a tendency to get carried away. He will get better though. I like his defense and he is a really smart baller.

Penny is doing alot of things very well. I like his play. His shot may be off some nights, but he always plays hard. He is a team player as far as I can tell.

Did you all catch those cross over dribbles and spliting of the double teams that Stephon was doing! Wow! He is a huge difference. I like the trade more now than before! He is a HUGE difference on this team.

Wilkens is too. He has the guys playing some good man to mand D now. FInally a coach that pays attention to detals and Defense again! IT looks so much more relaxed now standing in the tunnel! Wilkens is always coaching!

chaney era 40 games under .500
post-chaney era 4 games over!!!

A player of RaWeed's ability in the low blocks would make this team the EC favorite.

Is it me, or does enyone else have confidence that the Knicks can win on most nights now?

This week, @Houston, @Atlanta, vs Miami. Knicks need to go 2-1 at least, to get to 21-25

2 - 1 against those guys is extremely doable and yes, I feel like we can beat almost any team too. But as soon as I think that I am reminded of the past.
Before i go braggin I want to see a big team being beaten. I hope we can make it happen.
