Maybe we pick up Finley or Stackhouse and give them a few minutes as a stopgap for 2010.
If the longshot trade for Melo were to happen I suppose you could have him at the three, AR at the four, STAT at the five and one of Walker, Mayor or Gallo at the two depending on who went out in the trade.
Yeah, the big three in Miami changed the game. OJ Mayo is a nice player but he doesn't carry you the title. Short combo guards like OJ Mayo come into the league almost every year. But players like AR? He could develop into one of the league's truly unique, star talents. We're not going to win the title this season anyway. We mind as well develop what we have and if a game-changer like Melo is available for us, then we jump on it. Lets settle down before we start offering AR for borderline star players. The game has changed.
