So...after a few months...he goes home tells the babe... "Yeah ...I was a singer off Broadway for a while" same guy with a grass stalk fer a toothpick.

Thanks everyone...

I don't know if it's that unique, but I really like the Continental, in the Village.

I got kicked out of there!

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Haha, thats the best part about that place- even better than the $5 shots of anything for $10. I think thats the owner too! Its one of the most bizarre things in the city. Place used to be a pretty legendary rock venue where Iggy Pop played.

This restaurant is like a ninja castle and the waiter do ninjitsu...

Dude... that is crazy. Might have to hit that up.

I don't think I've ever been there. There used to be a place called The Village Idiot where I blacked out a few times when I first moved to the city. That place smelled like urine, but it didn't matter. Booze was cheap, bras were hanging everywhere, they had porn playing on an old tv in the front, pool tables and half dressed bartenders. Who could ask for anything more?

I think it got shut down a few years ago for health code violations.

Village Vanguard. Oldest and best jazz club in the world.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.
