I was ready for the Gilbert Arenas, Shawn Williams, Rashard McCants era. Couple that with the firing of D'Antoni's staff and replacing them with Isiah guys and it would be a fun run until someone intervened either for best interest of the game or because of lack of professionalism by the chief executive and his minions.

Can anyone tell me why this blues destroying mutant pig finds it necessary to "solicit the views" of an evil, slack-brained troll who's managed to destroy everything (except himself) that he's touched since 1995?

Wait, I think I answered my own question. Never mind.

NEW YORK, Aug. 11, 2010 – The following statement was released today by Madison Square Garden Executive Chairman, James L. Dolan:

"Although I'm disappointed that Isiah will not be working with the Knicks as a consultant, I continue to believe in his basketball knowledge, including his ability to judge talent. He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team. We wish him continued success at FIU. I also believe Donnie Walsh has done a terrific job since joining the Knicks and my tremendous respect for him has only grown since he's joined the organization. I'm confident that the work that Donnie, Coach Mike D'Antoni and their staffs have done this summer has the team poised for long-term success."

whats the problem with any of this? Its Dolan's team and he writes the checks. I dont want Isiah as my GM, he's not qualified and isnt suited. If he's going to scout and have draft input I could care less. He was good at that. Isiah also has ties to Walsh who hired him to coach the Pacers so I dont see bad blood there either.

Idiots who cried about the Isiah drama man up!

Does not matter. Dolan knows better than the NBA, the fans, and others in his organization. Isiah Thomas is the RIGHT man for the job, and everyone else be damned. And if it becomes a huge mess again, it doesn't matter, because Daddy will NEVER fire his lil' ex drinker. No accountability = the Knicks being a mess of an organization for a LONG time.
