all these guys sans Wade took a hit. Everyone knows Bosh mailed it in. Everyone say Lebron checking out in the playoffs. Once it stopped being easy and fun he was done.

JVG always talked about 'mental toughness'

Pretty sure there is a lack there

I guess thats 85% of his fan base

"everyone"? lebron is some mother ****ing super Santa Klaus?

Hey Bron-- Ewingsglass (that's me) thinks you don't have the mental fortitude to win a championship as the leader of a team. I think that the physical talents that you have will be a real asset to Dwyane Wade as he tries to lead his team to a Championship. But as far as NY is concerned, I think you are a puss that couldn't take the metaphorical heat that would come from being a Knick, so you took the "Heat" instead so you could coast. I hope that's what is best for your family. AND, I think Delonte did your mom which got into your head in the playoffs. Put that on your list, Santa.

You know I gonna spin wit it

fuk him. The losses he suffered in Cleveland should have motivated his ass to win there. He chose to become Kid Flash.

lots of folk are expecting them to eclipse Jordans bulls win mark of (72 I believe it was). Well, until those 3guys learn how to play defense - blocking someones shot from behind does not make you a great defender, just gets you a highlight on EsPN - they won't come anywhere near that mark.

Defense wins championships. Boston proved it, La proved it, hell even Detroit proved it despite the mental asterisk I place next to them. Wade is a poor defender, Bosch is a poor defender, James is a poor to OK defender, who are they stopping. The cogs they brought in only make things worse. Mike miller couldn't guard a stationary bike.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Maybe their lack of defense will be compensated by the fact that opponents are going to have to work pretty hard to defend these guys, with either specialists that aren't great scorers, or guys whose offense may not keep up having to work that hard on the other end. It's definitely going to be interesting to see.

I think they win it won't matter what anyone thinks cuz they (Lebron'e and Bosh'e) will think they are redeemed and will shout as such.

Its theirs to lose.

So if that is ones perception, then they hava already "won".

If he came to NY he'd be ours.

No one will look at them winning a title as if they made a major accomplishment..

If they don't win, OMG..it won't be pretty for anyone associated with the franchise, and more then half the planet will be laughing at there asses..

They will create 6 million reason on why they didn't win it

Charles Barkley weighed in Wednesday on a recent Twitter statement by LeBron James. Barkley, a TNT analyst and former NBA All-Star, said he hopes James remembers Barkley's critical comments and called a couple of James' more significant actions this summer "punk" moves.

"I heard about LeBron's little tweet today that he's remembering everybody who said anything bad about him," Barkley said Thursday on ESPN Radio 103.3 FM in Dallas/Fort Worth. "And he said 'everybody.' Well, I want him to make sure that he puts my name on that (list).

"I thought that his little one-hour special was a punk move. I thought them dancing around on the stage was a punk move, and I thought he should've stayed in Cleveland. Him joining Dwyane Wade's team was very disappointing to me."

Barkley spoke on "Galloway and Company," hosted by Randy Galloway, Ian Fitzsimmons and Matt Mosley. Barkley referred to a Twitter post by James -- under the name King James -- in which he said: "Don't think for one min that I haven't been taking mental notes of everyone taking shots at me this summer. And I mean everyone!"

James has been criticized for leaving Cleveland and for announcing it on a national TV special on ESPN set up by him and his handlers. He also was the subject of a story on ESPN.com about a birthday party in a Las Vegas club that sounded more hedonistic than humble. The story was later removed because ESPN said its reporter did not state clearly he was writing a story (the accuracy of the story was never questioned).

In addition to the TV special, Barkley also weighed in on a rally at American Airlines Arena where James, Chris Bosh and Wade were treated like rock stars and talked about themselves as arguably the greatest trio ever to play in the NBA and future winners of five, six, seven championships.

Galloway and his co-host chuckled at Barkley's remarks, then said they enjoyed the fact Barkley wanted James to include him on his list.

"He's got enough people kissing his ass with his family and all the people who work for him," Barkley said. "We don't have to tell him what he wants to hear all the time. That's one of the reasons why ... some of these young guys ... my opinion is he should have stayed in Cleveland.

"That one-hour special, them jumping around on stage like punks, that wasn't cool to me. From a basketball standpoint, I wish he had stayed in Cleveland, and if he takes that as criticism, so be it.

It's odd that Lebron would think the criticism is that many feel they won't win a championship. The criticism has nothing to do with them winning. Most people expect them to win. The criticism is regarding the arrogance, ego and the amount of sissiness it took to run to be an assistant to Dwayne Wade.
I just hope that people will like me

Their enforcer inside is Haslim. HASLIM. Big teams are going to give them fits inside. Wade and Bosch are terrible defenders, as is Mike Miller and just about everyone on the team. Teams will zone them to death.

Boston already showed how you handle LB, pack in the middle and play physical when he steps below the arc. You do the same with Wade.

I am a big doubter because what worked in Phoenix was that each player pretty much complimented each other and they have a couple of guys that are committed to defense like Grant Hill.

LB or Wade will have to change or alter their games because there is too much duplication to compliment each other.

Also, how will Wade take it once he suffers his obligatory injury only to sit on the sideline while LB steals his spot as number `1option.

For any hol-of-famers LeBron is no more than Pank.
He will need to build himself up all the way. And he has ability.
Unfortunately he is surrunded by people who will most likely drug him down to hell.
And this is sad. With all NYC dissapointment I want him to succed at the end.

America needs happy endings....but LB is a non issue when looking at the bigger picture as you are. Teachers getting paid a decent salary would be a happy ending....a rise in student test scores is a happy ending, the lowering of health care costs so my grandmother doesn't have to worry about her inability to afford her heart medication would be a happy ending.

LeBron is actually whats wrong with the country in my opinion. Him staying in Cleveland where his presence helped that economically suffering community a whole lot....that would have been a happy ending. Lebron growing up and actually becoming a man...that would also be a happy ending. Hope it happens some day

The whole thing was bizzare! Make announcement in Greenwich means he was leaning knicks.

The man wants a title run NOW.

Can't blame him for that.

I don't think the ecnomic viabilty of Cleveland should rest on his shoulders. He could have really made a graceful exit to witehr NY or Miami but we have learned that he is an egocentric monster and still a little boy not fully realizing his impact on OTHERS.

Naturally we want them to fail. And that itself would make them more appealing in the long run.

Its why so many like Sara Palin. She is much like so many ordinary people with ordinary problems. Lebron once he gets knocked off his horse will then be more appealing.

He will sell the "Team" concept and who can really be critical for wanting to be part of a team?

Lebron might be stupid but that itself will actually help him.

Really? No ****!
I think if they fail, they should each have a 1 hour press conference declaring how much they suck that they could stack the deck so well and still strike out.
