OK Guys thanks for answering my question, Frank Williams is highly overrated(atleast by a couple of people on this site). The way some of you talk about him you must be either his parents or agents. Getting the Shaft that must be a joke. Hes riding the bench behind one of the best PGs in the league. Frank Williams has proved nothing. He played like 3 good games against some terrible teams, and already he is in the HOF. (thanks for listing every highlight in his entire 500 minute career in your earlier response) He played well when given a chance. Thats it, Hopefully someday he can be an avg PG in the NBA, this guy doesnt have the speed or outside shot to be an all-star type point guard. The only reason some knick fans think he is so great is cause they were comparing him to ward and eisly, compared to them he is great. He will never get more than 10 minutes a game in NY, who do u take away minutes for him to play more, Houston, Marbury, Penny I dont think so. If I were the knicks I would trade him now while the impression of those 3 games is fresh in other teams minds.
where did steph come from, where did tony parker(starting point guard for the world champion spurs) come from, where did steve fracis come from, where did jason williams come from. as an nba player, when you show signs of getting better and making your teammates better, you are given a chance to show if you can do it on a consistent basis, did frank get it? overrated, under rated, nobody said he was great, but if you had watched all of those games he played in, you should have seen how great the team was playing. he was the point guard and the team was feeding off of him.
nobody said frank is better or worse than steph. everybody is saying that he never really got the chance to show what he had like all of these following player got, kg's, jermaines, kobes, parkers, stephs, jamal tinsleys, the list goes on.
look at the highlights bro, the guy just made the team better and if you can't see that, you are probably not a knicks fan.
