AR isn't a bad rebounder on a per minute basis. He's gonna get stronger as he matures and I don't forded him being a problem for us rebounding wise.

I like Chandler but if they want to improve team balance I can understand having to move him. This is all speculation right now they may not move him at all.

First game line-up?

PG- Felton/TD
SG-?
SF-Gallo/Chandler
PF-Stat/AR/Chander
C-Turiaf/AR or Mozgov

The ? is the thing candidates
Buike, Fields, Walker, TD (Brown?)

d'Antoni will have some potential to juggle for mismatches

He may play there but I expect Amar'e to beef if he gets much of regular
minutes at center.

It will be fun to watch this team come together.

Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

That TD, Chan, AR, Walker group off the bench should be fun to watch. When we plug in our reserves we keep our explosiveness and speed. This really is one of the top athletic teams in the league now. 1-10 we have some superior athletes on this roster. I wouldn't want to have to chase this group down for 48 minutes. With all this speed, there should be no excuse for not getting back on D either! This team had better not be a poor transition team.

I agree with you Nix: THe real test for MDA this season is not just how many buckets the fellas put up each night, not just the number of wins, not just the offensive stats achieved. It's really how well they do at the other end, the tenacity, the will to stop other teams from taking it to the hole. For MDA to succeed here, our guys MUST make other teams into shooting teams. If he can achieve that, we may really have something special.

And I agree about the speed and athleticism working in our favor, as well as the potential for wreaking havoc with mismatches using speed and also the P&R when other teams decide to chase back to defend. It's going to be fun to watch.

I prefer rolling the dice with Azubuike at the 2 this season and maybe getting Fields some PT if he can earn it in practice and when he gets garbage minutes vs. committing $ to Shannon Brown.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please
