![]() the rooster baby. we need a big year out of this guy. i don't think 20/game is out of the question. he's one of the longest tenured knicks on the roster now, hopefully he becomes a leader and guy's EXPECT him to carry the load offensively. i think a big problem the last 2 years has been his deferring to NBA vets and figuring out where he stands. he's got the skills, he just needs to bring it every night.

I think getting used to his height may be part of the reason for some of his awkwardness at times... He also has to come to terms with the fact that he is taller, and while he many never be as maneuverable as he was at 6'8"/9," he has other things he can do with that size, that he could not have done as well at 6'8." It would be interesting to see how the trainer he is now with- allegedly someone who worked with Kobe- is working on Gallinari's game. No man is happy without a delusion of some kind. ![]() Danilo has been my favorite Knick for a while, but if you look at a lot of previous games this past season, this guy loves to just camp in the corner. Literally.
There are just way too many possessions where he isn't cutting, the offense isn't flowing, and Danilo just stood in one spot. I am really hoping to see him cut backdoor more often this season, and show some needed improvement in his footwork and agility. |

![]() It's very simple to explain why Gallo was laboring the move and jump, he just came off a back surgery and couldn't really workout last offseason. Plus that back issue he had left him weak in the legs. This is his 1st full offseason of training without restriction so along with growing into his body he's working on his core and base.
I expect an improved player with more confidence going to the hole. You could see him get more confident as the year went along and he got stronger. His jumper should be more consistent late in games too. |
