Cleveland Cavaliers

Does anyone else want to hug a Cleveland fan "Good Will Hunting" style and remind them that it's not their fault? LeBron James' impossibly painful exit was made worse by the Cavs' inability to give anyone their money. Houston matched a generous offer sheet to Kyle Lowry, Matt Barnes took half the money to play for the Lakers, and they can't even find a workable sign-and-trade for Shaquille O'Neal.

The only major change so far has been a swap of Delonte West for Ramon Sessions, which means the Cavs are basically the same team that won 61 games a year ago … albeit with one glaring omission. Cleveland still has a huge trade exception and may be able to get something done before opening day, but at best this looks like a borderline playoff team.

Playoff team? Um, don't think so.

Interesting to see which players remaining on the Cavs mail in their effort and hope to get traded at some point.

I like Scott, though- we will see if he can work some magic, but I doubt it. Maybe he will find a way to channel a hatred of LBJ into a cohesive and winning unit.

Somethimes, what is more important is, what is not said. That this guy refused to say anyhing good about the team, but couldn't say anything bad about the team, speaks volumes

These analysis have sucked. Obviously we've gone in detail about how bad the winner portion was. The losers portion was more accurate, however calling the Cavs even a borderline playoff team is dumb. They are a 30-win team with no future at best. Obviously them as well as Toronto, NJ, and Minny were losers, overpaying anyone they could get like we used to be, but calling the Lakers losers was wrong. No one has ever had an off season like the Heat, so calling the Lakers losers for not comparing to that is stupid. The lakers got better coming off a championship year, i would call that a win.
