This makes no sense at all.

What doesnt make sense? They aren't going to give away Mullens. They will just cut a scrub. Now if we make an decent offer for Mullen they might be willing to move him since they have Cole Aldrich.

I think they would cut a scrub before giving away Mullens for a 2nd rounder as proposed by the OP.

We can probably get Weaver for a 2nd rounder. Since the OP obviously wants to acquire Mullens from the Thunder I proposed a deal that would save the Thunder some cash and free up a roster spot.

Kristic is an expiring contract so they can just let him walk if they choose too. Two 2nd rounders isn't going to cut it. Durant just got the max. Westbrook is looking to get the max if he keeps getting better. So having a alot of 7 foot guys on rookie deals who they could potentially keep by matching offers makes sense from Oklahoma's point of view.

In order to get Mullens you are going to have to make a serious offer.

Nah two 2's is fair.
