Wow...once again, the media is toying with Knick fans emotions once again. We used to be weak and desperate, and hung over every night. Now it's a new year. No need to hang onto every rumor anymore.

We actually have a team to build on. Now if Melo re-ups before Paul is traded?

Would that change anybody's minds on this potential trade? Assuming we have to add Okafor's contract?

Just asking.....

Okafor would move to power forward and nobody would care about his offensive production. I don't know if the Magic has enough either-they might need to get a third team involved, but when I look at their roster, they really don't have a true PF on that team worthy of starting. Lewis seems to be their PF, but he is little more than Gallo at this time, and maybe less after Gallinari gets another year in. You wonder if Orlando might see OK4 as a PF and backup C for them.

colin cowherd was selling this BS on his radio show.. said the knicks had nothing to offer that would fill seats.. He said, vince carter and jameer nelson are big names that can fill seats and that NO still has a business to run..

These guys really are idiots.. guys like cowherd are more football guys who run their mouth about other sports... fans are not stupid, getting a seriously declining vince and jameer are not going to sell seats, and when they start the season 10-18, who is going to fill those seats?

Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

I get frustrated with national sports guys. They generally do not know anything about the NBA and only talk about with a knowledge base of a casual fan. Its great that there is NBA TV and a few guys that get it nationally.

If you think that's bad, I read an online article in this morning's NY Post saying that Harrington is better than Randolph and Nate is better than Azubuike.

Haha, I listened to Cowhered too yesterday, that guy is a real idiot.

Vince is $17 mil coming off the books, so he can definitely be moved. But if NO is insisting a team take Okafor, then that's $21 mil leaving and only $17 mil coming back. ORL does not have better young pieces than the Knicks, that is inarguably. Ryan Anderson is mediocre, I'd take Gallo and AR for sure before him.

Why would the Hornets take Jameer Nelson? Collinson is one aspect that makes CP3 expendable. Taking on Nelson and his committed money makes ZERO sense. I would be shocked if NO was dumb enough to take him on (then again, Minnesota just dealt Al Jefferson for cap relief so who f-ing knows these guys are all idiots).

I personally don't see how the Magic can offer a better package than the Knicks. Knicks can offer the same cap relief (Curry + Turiaf = Vince, both are coming off the books anyway) and Knicks can certainly offer a better package of prospects. Maybe Walsh rebuffed NO so they are just saying this now. Who knows.

I read somewhere Lebron wants him in the western conf. so they can maximize the finals.

I have a big problem with all this not form where these guys go but from a competitive stand point. If Paul is Lebrons bitch then when Paul who Dallas has been after for a while now is in the finals Paul has to sit and pee while lebron gets his coronation with is queens.

When Isiah and Magic kissed that was all good but when the whistle blew they threw it down for real.
