hmm his stats even went down farther as they got closer to the playoffs. His ppg, %, and assists went down almost every month.
But those are the type of numbers that carry your team! haha Salmons had nothing to do with it apparently.

If we are talking about POINT GUARDS on that list:

1. Chris Paul
2. Steve Nash
3. Deron Williams
4. Tony Parker
5. Rajon Rondo
6. Derrick Rose
7. Russell Westbrook
8. Chauncey Billups
9. Aaron Brooks
10. Jason Kidd
11. Jameer Nelson
12. Baron Davis
13. Devin Harris
14. Jose Calderone
15. Andre Miller
16. Brandon Jennings
17. Stephon Curry
18. Tyreke Evans
19. Gilbert Arenas
20. John Wall

John Wall has to earn his place on the list, as do Curry, Jennings and Evans. Jennings gets the nod b/c he took that team to the playoffs and gave the Hawks a ride. Curry over Evans b/c big time shooting is crucial.

That's a really good list. Mine would be almost identical.

it really is unbelievable... after 2 years of futzing around on a hope & a prayer that we could sign Lebron this summer, you'd think Knick fans would welcome the idea of actually GETTING a superstar this time... yes, we got Amare, but history tells us you don't win championships w/o at least 1 more superstar on your team... & guys are hedging because they're afraid to give up Anthony Randolph... if we were giving up a young player for cap space, then i'd be fully in agreement here as being opposed to it, but this is a straight trade we're talking about... you actually know what you're getting, & what you're getting is the #1 PG in the game today at 25 years of age... wow... Anthony Randolph.

On his own team he is the number 2 at the end of last year

1 Darren Collison
2 Chris Paul

Let's see if that's still true in the fall.

the best PG according to playa... it's a rank your own list.

a lot of people would put Deron Williams, Rondo and Nash ahead of Paul. when you consider his knee situation, DRose and JWall and maybe even Evans and Jennings move ahead of him as well.

Chris Paul is the best point guard in the NBA from 2007-2009. This is 2010 and he has had a major knee surgery.

+1

Jamal Crawford schooled D Wade in a game once... 1 game results don't mean much... trust, this kid is going to be a superstar, & it won't take him long to get there.

Ill take John Wall 1. He's the only guy who will have championship caliber talent. there are some super guards in there great but I have a feeling that John Wall might become the best player in the game within 3 years.

I think cp3 is the best until I see other wise, but DW is a beast. Tyreke is a shooting guard Imo and Wall is a combo Guard rookie that hasn't played a game. A healthy Gilbert is probably in roses spot.

I think after Billups, most of the guards in this lead are mostly Athletic scorer types and less floor generals.

Other then Kid, Nelson, Calderon and Miller, the new guard type is a 15-20point & 5-8 assists Combo guard

What about Gallo bird??? I think it's funny that he is rarely mentioned even though he is viewed to be a better prospect by most knick fans.............

I think DW and CP is a matter of preference... size or speed? Both are elite. I said Williams because I saw him play in fantastic seats in Houston and I swear, he saw the play develop seconds before I did. I'm not trying to give myself credit, what I'm saying is usually it's easier to see from a distance. I've seen Paul play too and his speed and quickness are out of this world... I just think Williams' size gives him the advantage in the postseason in half court sets
