ECF? I am hopeful and usually optimistic but IMHO Gallo and Buike and Timofey would have to all have very good years for their respective experience/potential.

I have no idea about russian C --if we get upside we get upside

the more i look at his team the more it reminds me of 60+ win sun team with more size. 6-10 along the frontline will be brutal for teams to match up with---it's all about the extra tweaks---a little more shooting and either additions or stepping up from the bench. in the ec it s going to be 50+ wins

I have predicted around 30 for many years.

bRIGGS I fee you and for the most part I agree.. My biggest fears is that walsh guts this team because chris paul is wanting out of NO.. that worries me..

We're a 35-40 win team at best.

you can't be serious about 35 wins (unless you are predicting massive injuries).

Knicks had 32 wins 2 years ago and were a much much worse team.

True but the EC i more talented now. Chicago is better (more experienced), Rondo is better, the Magic are pretty good, and Miami has the three queens. ECF would be a reach.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

35 is a lot more accurate than 52, that's for sure.

So you're predicting 43 wins at best?

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I said we'd go 41-41 in a previous thread. That record is closer to 35-47 than it is to 52-30.

Tweak the bench up with a good shooter and one more solid vet and we are winning 50-52 games and then we will surprise in the playoffs.

BRIGGS is optimistic, I love it.

I think we're much improved but I don't think we're up there with the best of the East yet.

I've said the past couple of seasons that I didn't expect this team to be in the playoffs but this season, happy to predict that I think we'll grab that 7th or 8th seed. Guessing around 42-43 wins. Anything more than that would be gravy.

What the hell, I'll co-sign for 52 wins. I mean nobody cares, but I'll do it.

It's not how you start but how you finish

October - Guys running into each other, isergio claims "I told you so"
Nov - decisions on starters, Mozgov struggles
Dec - guys running into each other less often, assists increase
Jan - 5 game winning streak, fans get excited, briggs claims "I told you so"
Feb - trade dealine deal, Garden gets really loud as Mozgov gets comfortable
March - playoff push as team coheres after brawl with Heat, Allan Houston named GM
April - clinch 8th seed, face heavy favorites Heat on first round, Donnie Walsh receives standing ovation

expect the unexpected

I think we should just expect 38-42 wins.

Expecting the unexpected may lead to disappointment.

Wen are relying on potential being realized for us to have a big year. That worries me. I'm hopeful but as of now I say 40 wins.

I'd say we will be this years bucks, 46 wins 5/6 seed. Briggs 52 win ore diction is what Atlanta did last year. If you feel we are better than Atlanta, as I do, he may not be that crazy.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Add put Chris Paul to this roster that we have and your 52 win prediction will become A LOT more realistic.

Come on. Get with the program. We're not counting on T-Mac, we've got a real, young, hungry team with more weapons then we've had in years. Anything less then .500 basketball would be an abomination.

Skip to my Lou Alston as backup to Felton. you'd be surprised!

You don't "expect" any number of wins

no one wins a prize for the correct number

You expect better basketball in March that makes you spill your popcorn

just win baby
