JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Are people really surprised players go places for the money? Are you living in the 21st century?

I don't think there is a formula for what "players" want most. I think in every individual it could be different. For some, of course its pure money. For others, its a chance to win the ring that has been avoiding them their whole career. Sometimes it has to do with personalities clashing and needing to change the employer. Yet others, never get traded and want to play only for the team that they first played for. Then there are multitude of other reasons like, say, after some years as one of the league's biggest stars and coming up short every year of winning it all. Watching the years go by, wondering how much more can be accomplished with the time you have. Deciding to take the easiest way out possible is very logical and when you are surrounded by a bunch of ppl that all use logic they all want the sure fire way to avoid coming up short. To them, creating a rivalry is creating an obstacle to smooth sailing for the championship rings. Besides, being one of the Three Musketeers is not THAT easy, according to Wade at least.

Almost like if a guy landed this beautiful girl, but then she says that she would've gone with a different guy if he asked her out, on one hand the guy with her feels lucky, but not as good as before.

Since you put it that way, **** Amare!!!

Always been a fan of his. Not going to support him less because he's wearing the Orange & Blue for whatever reason.

The fact that both david lee and amare said they wanted to stay in their respective cities means nothing(with same contract) besides the fact they were loyal players. A very good thing to say to the media these days since lebron.

If we had offered the GS contract to Lee, would he have stayed? Probably cause GS sucks, and has for awhile besides that playoff run, although i look forward to watching him on that team(and he may prosper further). He had the spotlight of ny here which he could handle and he did well with it.

Would Amare have left if the suns spent that type of money on him? Maybe, but he does seem to like the spotlight and attention. And, nash is getting real old btw. He will do well here.

I really like how both players handled their situation and wish the both of them luck and I will watch both of them quite a bit over the next few years.
