Don't discount the lessons Stoudemire learned from Marbury. Every young players needs to learn back of the truck etiquette and ther finer points of coach killing and teammate alienation (I assume and hope that these are the examples that Stoudemire learned not to emulate). And Paul Shirley is bright man capable of doling out valuable advice, as long as it has nothing to do with how the U.S. should interact with Haiti following a naturla disaster.
Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.
