There isn't many 7 player trades in NBA history??? It's hard getting two teams to agree on that many players...

Paul is going to have to force his way here for the knicks to get him IMO.

consider.

Randolph seems tailor made for SSOL and he plays D. I want to see how things shake out first before any more deals are made but the prospect of having Paul in a Knicks uniform is definitely intriguing.

i agree with that. however, i would consider if he played a half of a season and if other teams are vying for his services in february we should throw our hat in. but again i would rather have melo for now because we wouldnt have to gut the team to get him. however, our mindset could change with one stroke of a pen from melo this summer.

I can't think of a single team that has won it all with their best player being a PG. So I would rather use the assets to get Melo and keep Felton.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I'm thinking of 15+PPG, 8/9 APG from Felton, and much better perimeter D (Not saying much, though- Donnie in his wheelchair could do a better job staying in front of someone than Duhon).

If everything on the team is clicking perfectly, bump up Felton's APG a bit.

Dude averaged 12 and 5 last year in a slow it down system.

This year the primary offense will involve a high pick and roll and race to the basket with him either scoring, getting to the line, dishing to Amare or hitting a wide open shooter on the wing.

He has the speed and power to get 12 points just off of free throws in that system.

As a defense, what are you going to do? Foul either Amare or Felton, leave a wide open 38%+ shooter on the outside or just back way off and let either of the two take a jumper. I would probably back way off of Felton, but if he can bang them in as well as Lee could from 18 ft last year then we should win that battle more often than not.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

How old are you Simrud? In addition to Isiah, you could argue that in the Triangle systems Jordan and Kobe are really the point guards.

The "lead guard" has been the best player on most of the last thirty years of championship teams and especially if you take into account Finals Teams. Bird, Shaq, Duncan and The Dream would be the exceptions.

This is such nonsense---who wants to trade someone who hasnt even played game for us. Jesus Randolph could turn out to be better than Paul. If we trade for Paul--the way the Knicks are he will have micro-fracture surgery by the 4th exhibition game and we have given up all our young assets plus we have no picks left!!!! Do we need another PG? yesbut we JUST paid 8mm for starter I cant believe the Knicks think Andy Rautins is a back up/third PG in the NBA--he's not a 5th PG in the D league. Jeremy Lin would be perfect--cheap dont have to give up anything and he doesnt mind sitting--but also has the talent to play in the NBA if needed.,

First off you guys want Chris Paul but he is coming off a nightmare season filled with injuries. He didn't even finish the season. At the same time some of you say Amar'e is a injury risk. Extremely annoying.

Another thing....people cry about not drafting well but are willing to give up youth for an Isiah style starphuch. Give me a freaking break.

I say give Felton a chance....he's gonna be a huge improvement over Duhon to say the least. Anthony Randolph, Gallo and Chandler are on the threshold as Clyde would say....

Stop following trends and follow your team.

the only way that trade has a chance of success is if AR beasts next year for the Knicks.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
