All I'm saying is, this is a very important year for him 9curry) and you can't dismiss that, and I would like to see him, hope fully raise his value, and get something solid in return. There's been plenty of players that have went down for a couple of seasons and came back ready. Now i know there's nothing to indicate that will happen with curry, but at the same time, it's not left field talk, it can happen..even jerome james ink himself a nice deal off of 6 playoff games.

james can thank IT for that, so can curry... why get hopes up over this clown? if he cant get any picks in trade buy his sorry behind out and be done with him. if indeed a new era has begun, time to move on from the garbage of the past 10 years and curry is a large part of what needs to be forgotten. how many chances can you give a guy before its time to move on? it seems the FO is tired of waiting as well. we shall see if he does indeed sit.

GO TEAM VENTURE!!!!!

They've been trying for years to get Curry to play well enough to be trade bait with no success.
With him its one excuse after another and the Knicks look like they finally said F it. I'd rather the russian got the PT, he sounds like he has the right attitude, and the sooner the Knicks know if he's worth the minutes the better.

I seriously doubt that Curry could play well enough or stay in shape and injury free long enough to be worth more than an expiring contract. Just glad this fiasco is finally coming to an end.

I don't think either of these guys sees many minutes. Jordan would benefit from d-league time and I am not sure about Timofey. I don't think D'Antoni is that high on developing role playing, traditional big men.

That's why I'm not a big fan of Pringles (aside from the #1 reason of his issue with teaching defense).
Why invest so much in these bigs w/ potential (Darko, Jordan Hill, Jerome Jordan, Mozgov) only to insult them by benching them indefinitely? I understand either JJ or Mozgov won't see any minutes but I think at least one of them should get in a good 7-8 min. a game, behind Turiaf, Amare, and Randolph, who will all rotate with the PF position.

Coach D seems to play favorites, while alienating players he has issues with.

If this is true, I have absolutely no problem with it...Eddy Curry has embarrassed himself and the franchise to no end..I can't wait to be done with him...The two situations I legitimately feel bad for the man are the horrific death of his daughter and the baby's mother and the time when he & his family were held captive in the push-in robbery..Two horrible events that I can't even imagine...However, Curry the basketball player just doesn't have my respect anymore and hasn't for some time..The man just does not take his craft seriously...Now we have the situation where he skips out on a court appearance and then has the warrant out for his arrest..I mean can you imagine? Eddy Curry out on the lam. Jesus H Christ..LOL...Right after they realized there were no trades worth making out there that would've included Curry, I probably would've looked to start buyout negotiations right away...Of course it's not terrible to keep his expiring contract around too I guess, just in case a trade really worth making pops up during the year. Either way we'll soon be moving on from this dude..That day can't come soon enough...Quiet possibly the most disappointing professional athlete I've ever seen..

Look, if anything can drive and motivate a man to succeed it's $$$$ , you really think this guy is going to come into the season anything less then a 100%....

That depends on who you talked to. I know plenty of Magic fans who said Reddick didn't show up and work his ass off until his contract year. That guy got more venom than Lewis.

it's a good look keeping eddy off the team. sign the earl, he's already proven he can play at this level and mda proved he was willing to play him. jordan probably gives nothing and we have no idea what to expect from drago.

I don't think Knicks are signing Earl but they should sign a spare veteran big man like Theo Ratliff.

My guess is the Knicks have some takers for his contract. Otherwise, I say why not give him a chance to play if he comes in with the right motivation. The guy is basically bankrupt and and he's playing for his career. He has no other skills, no college education. This is basically a guy who if he doesn't play well this year may well end up living on the streets within 10 years.

Wow- acquiring Eddy Curry may go down as the worst move in NBA history. He didn't even play out 50% of his contract and we acquired him when he was like 22. Thats just sad.

My sources tell me that Eddie has signed on to do The Fugitive II, with 64 year old actor Tommie Lee Jones. Hollywood insiders say that Eddie was the only candidate under the age of 30 who auditioned that the arthritic Jones, who is also recovering from double hip surgery, could actually catch during the dramatic chase scene at the end of the movie.

Hmmm, might be. McDyess trade cost us Camby and Nene (or arguably Amare) and McDyess never played a game. Houston signing just left us over the cap for 6 years and forced us to take on bad contracts in order to acquire "talent". Curry cost us our dignity, our respect for the players, $10M per year, a #2 draft pick overall (LaMarcus Aldridge) and the number 9 pick swapped for the number 23 overall (Joakim Noah for Wilson Chandler)-- all after we spent the MLE on Jerome James. I agree, perhaps the worst deal of all time.

You know I gonna spin wit it

And the dude was a no-show for the Vegas summer league. You would think he would bust his butt to please the team now that the gravy train is about to end. He better come into camp in the best shape of his life, if he wants to see the court this year, b/c I think MDA is about one more Curry mistake away from giving him the Hardaway treatment and making him stay home for the rest of the season.

I want to say that I read that Curry's woman was expecting a child very soon. Don't know if that means wife, gf, gf #2 or some random chick.

BUT, you would have thought that Curry would have known about this sooner and could have communicated this to the Knicks.

Nobody is trading for Eddy Curry because he can play. They will trade for him to clear $11.3M in cap.

we won't be trading Eddy Curry to take on longterm salary unless we're talking about a superstar player... they'll just hold onto him otherwise & let his contract come off the books at the end of the year otherwise... at least, that's what DW is leading everyone to believe.

Eddy Curry having sex with women that aren't fat is an example of what $11 million can do.
