My only complaint is that the Knicks never keep anyone long enough that you really feel he is a part of the team. They are just loaners who will go away in a year with the Knicks chasing a pipe dream. David Lee I was a fan of and now he is gone. I even loved the way Jefferys played defense. I really am pushing for the new guys before we start salary dumping again chasing a dream. the Mello dream. Papabear

Now the only way that you can convince me that the trading of Crawford and Zach was a must to be winners and get under the cap will be if we make the playoffs in 2011 and to the second round. Anything less will be a failer. And we will be no better off than Zach and Crawford. Don't talk the talk to me, Let's see what they can do. D'Antoni has alread hinted that he ain't playing the Russian and when someone ask him about defense he don't want to hear it. If you can't hit the 3 you can forget about playing. Papabear

Amare is better than Zach. Zach is still the same ball-hog he always was. He just plays on a decent team now. Same for Crawford and his erratic self. Anthony Randolph is a better prospect and I'd take this guy over any of the players you mentioned. From being $50 million over the cap with guys like Curry, Zach, Crawford, Jerome, Jeffries, Marbury, and others on our team to having a very young, talented team with lots of good pieces and financial flexibility for the future is much better than what we previously had. If you want to go back to enjoying Isiah's teams I suggest you take a time machine there and enjoy the 50-point losses for yourself. JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
