didn't listen to the stern clip. def will later.

gilbert is a douche because if he really felt what he said about lebron then he should have renounced him at the start of free agency. gilbert was ready to give dude a new max $120M contract even though he felt the guy quit on the team. he would sold that **** to cavs fans without hesitation. he misses his cash cow.

but still, f lebron. not for choosing the heat. just for being him.

*we all know lebron had the right to leave.. yea, we get it.. It is how he handled his business that is in question.. yes gilbert was wrong, but I can understand his anger...

* As an owner gilbert can only think back to the playoffs when lebron had two horrible games in which his team lost and they were eliminated, he can only wonder if lebron was giving his all? or had lebron already checked out to play in miami. Again, this "collusion" thing somewhat calls into question the integrity of the game, if this is what really went on..

* High paid slaves? really? slaves didn't have a choice, lebron doesn't have to play basketball, he can sell insurance, or work as a delivery driver if he wants.

*And the notion that owners can trade a player if his production declines is true, but here is the kicker, NBA contracts are guaranteed. the player still gets paid....

Again, the point here is how lebron handled the situation, not that he didn't have a right to leave....

I agree with both Bip and tkf. Both make good points.

I am glad LeBron left Cleveland. He had to leave the nest and expand his territory. The part I don't like; can't stand; hate is that he went with 2 of the other best FA available and together, they have made a mockery out of competition. No fun watching them play....I can watch the Harlem Globetrotters play the Washington Generals and have as good, if not a better time. And it won't cost as much.

All of these people are very rich, spoiled, multi-millionaires. They make their money off of us. Well, not me. I will not go to watch the Heat play, nor will I ever buy a product endorsed by one of the three. Big Boycott of the Big Three. But I will go to watch the Knicks play when I am in NY and root for my team.

Yea, I am done supporting lebron.. never supported wade and bosh is just a clown..

These guys in the nba are all too close, too chum chum.... this is what I can respect about kobe.. from what I heard, he really doesn't hang out in clubs, kind of stays out of the party scene, and doesn't seem to have too many friends in the NBA.. what he has that is most important at this time, especially to the fans of LA I'm sure, are 5 rings and a killer instinct.....

Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

Michael Jordan had many friends in the NBA while playing, but that didn't stop him from being the #1 assassin while playing against them.

A player doesn't have to be anti-club or anti-social like Kobe to be a destroyer on the basketballcourt. Magic had friends too, but when the playoffs came he would knock your head off if he had to. Ask Isiah Thomas !

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
