Steph is one of the few little men who can take over a game and get the garden rocking , but we should be talking about TEAM play. Knicks played against a team who really didn't have a point guard in the sonics(brent barry)sg palying pg. Just remember He had issues with Nash (true pg) but you all want to forget that. Nash was scoring at will in OT that broke our backs.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

If you want to talk about team play, open a thread about it like you always do. This is the STEPHON MARBURY thread, and it's gonna stay that way.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Even when we had Mark Jackson, he was a good assist man but he never had the offensive ability Steph had, and he never had the explosiveness steph had also. Steph adds a element to this offense that we never had before... a dynamic one on one player and assist man...

I like Mark - smart player good court sense.

But Steph is a totally different beast. Mark never had the athletic ability to go with his basketball I.Q. Steph has the court sense and athletic ability - I was worried about him not be mature enough - but from what I've seen so far that ain't a problem either.

Case some newbies in here are blinded, to the fact that real pg give us trouble on good teams.

well, let's see what Crawford and Rookie Kirk do tonight... it's a shame we have to measure our SuperStar PG against a couple of players on their rookie contracts, but let's see...

Starbury will step up and take over the game AGAIN. Whoever has the hot hands tonight will feed their scoring stats as much as Starbury will be boosting his own assist stat lovely...

Eat Cheeseburgers or steak tonight, because the Bulls are Done.

What about the stl to get to OT, & the 18pts in the 3rd, & the clutch 3pointer.

Nash is talented and will get his pts on any pg. But Nash isn't the reason Dallas won vs us. It was Nash-Finley-Jamison-Nowitzki-Walker who all had big nights. At one point it was Marbury vs all 5 of them. And he still held his own and carried the Knicks on his back and brought them back in that game.

another thing on "real PGs" when asked which PG they HATE playing against the most both Steve Francis and Tony Parker said Stephon Marbury... hands down. Also, remember Steph is 5 years younger than Kidd.

Now that you bring it up, I remember them saying that it was just like Allan and Stephon used up all theyre energy during the run. That OT was a time that the rest of the team should've stepped up, not just rely on Stephon
