Not that simple I'm sure Carmelo wants that extra money we may need to trade for him and he is worth it

Please let's not start with that Melo crap. Haven't we learned anything from the LeBron deal? We probably won't be the only one looking to sign Melo and we just might get played again. Let's deal and work with what we have instead of wanting to trade them before the ink is dry.

All we learned in the Lebron disaster is that Lebron never wanted to play in NY or anywhere other than Miami and that he had planned with Wade and Bosh along time ago. Carmelo Anthony wants to play in NY big difference.

I like Randolph a lot and I hope he improves, especially mentally. I till remember the time Tim Thomas dunked on him with the Knicks and he almost cried. He had to be pulled from the game by Don Nelson.

And how do you know Melo wants to play here?? Sources?? The same sources that were around this whole wade to Chicago thing. Just stop dreaming about players under contract with other teams until we have realistic chance at them.

Steven A Smith the same guy who said all three were going to Miami and never backed off that stance. I'm not crazy about him but I will never doubt him again after that

If you need to deal him to get Melo you do it, but for now lets see what we've got.

However, if I could turn him into Tony Parker right now, or Carmelo in February, I think I would have to do it.

Our team needs a top PG to compete. Parker + Stoudamire + Gallo and a filled-out roster makes our team competitive right now. The PG hole is huge and must be filled to maximize the success of Amare and the rest of our team.

Also I'm not feeling Livingston.

The problem I see is Danphoney only trust a certain type of PG, that's why we never had a back up plan after him telling stephon to sit all season and run Duhon (a backup) into the ground. We passed on Jennings who was right there for us. In this offense a pg is need so badly you would have thought that we would have build around one by now

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Lets quit with the Jennings man-crush. The guy we should have taken is Holiday. Down the line this is the kid who will be a dominant player on both ends of the court.

Yeah, we should have taken a PG- I agree with that- but not the PG you, and 75% of the people on this site, wanted.

Just the beginning of a groundswell of support for Anthony to come to NY. The people are speaking.

Just a lot of hot air, but you have to think that the Nugget's brass does not appreciate what is going on, and it won't make it easy for Anthony if he does not take the extension and has to play out his contract with all the NYC stuff in the air.

I think we have three young great players in Randolph Chandler and Gallinari. They are Knicks--while Anthony is a great scorer--I would not trade the foundation of what could be a WINNING frontline for YEARS for a Bernard King type player. TEAMS win basketball championships. I think we will all be plenty happy with the team next year and at the end of the year--we will again have fiscal opportunity. Building continuity and chemistry is very important--we changed the team now let it play out and if there is a great opportunity--like a pick and ending contract for a great player--fine--if not deal with a position of strength at the end of next year when we will have been much improved and still have cap room --you don't build a great team by continually changing major pieces

I would think the woman that is marrying him tomorrow would know better than most of us
