A Cleveland reporter just mentioned on the radio that some "serious skeletons" would be coming out of the closet. He wasn't talking about just these negotiations, but also about the last 7 years of enabling Lebron and his friends and family. This could get really ugly.UH OH Gloria and Delonte won't get all the pub down on south beach as it would in NY
From Wojnarowski's column which has its own thread:
So now people are cheering Dan Gilbert’s manifesto tearing apart James, but no one contributed more to what the world witnessed on Thursday night than the owner’s enabling of James and his inner circle for seven years. Gilbert is the biggest con going, a man who makes his fortune peddling mortgages, and he’ll make his next on casinos in downtown Cleveland. He sells illusions for a living, and now he’s selling the biggest of all: that he’s a victim here, that James betrayed everyone. That’s a lie, and no one ought to dare buy it.

We sure got screwed by LeBron. Martin took down my Topic but I still beleive that there was colusion in this process and LeBron new a month ago that he was going to play in Miami with Wade and Bosh. He Screwed his man Jay Z. He should have told us so we could have made other moves. Teams got hurt especially the Nets thinking they had a chance so they held up on moves. We got duped and we never had a chance with Lebron. I dislike him for how he duped my Knicks. He never intended on coming here and he should have told us so we could have moved on.
That clown could have told a few teams, starting with Cleveland, although, at some point you have to read the writing on the wall. When the girl you're chasing refuses to be caught, doesn't return your glances or calls, it's pretty much over. But I digress. As a professional that wants to be taken seriously, do you not say what is what, and move on?
