Guys, don't knock Reddick. (Isn't he a free agent though?). That guy was a phenom in college and turned it on last year. He is much much more than that shooter we just drafted and it's not even close.

Reddick certainly was more of an asset than Vince and Petrius in the playoffs IMO.

Why do you guys want Reddick? Dude will command $4M this year and $5+M next and we got Rautins, Walker, Azubuike, Fields who all may do the same things.

You are in the minority. The guy was a gunner and he will stunt GAllo's growth. It is time to turn this team over to Gallo, Chandler, Douglas, and our other young guys.

Brandon Bass, Ryan Anderson, Daniel Orton.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

We are not getting him VGundy just came out in the press talking about how he loves the guy- I have to think that they are going to sign him.

Yup. Gallo deferred to much to the vets. Time for him to hit BB puberty and assert himself.

You could see MDA liking Anderson. Has size, brains, and he can shoot. We would really be putting together a young front line that can compete with anyone.

is Anderson a 3-4 tweener or can you see him being a solid backup 3 or 4. Is he a defensive liability for both? Just not familiar with his game.

Al would fit in well with Orlando. If we can get back 3 guys like Reddick, Anderson, & Barnes, we get good players for the Knicks system. Additionally, their contracts shouldn't effect next season.

Maybe a follow-up trade of Will Chandler (who I'd like to keep but will require a new deal next season, which the Knicks would like to use on Carmello); So trade him to the Wolves for the rights of Ricky Rubio, which I'm sure would push for this trade.

Potential Knick depth chart for next season and the season after:

2010-2011 Knicks

Pg: Douglas, Ruatins (maybe Ridenour)
Sg: Walker, Reddick
Sf: Gallo, Barnes, (Dude from Stanford we drafted)
Pf: Amare, Anderson
C: Turiaf, Randolf,Jordan

2011-2012 Knicks

Pg: Rubio, Douglas, Ruatins
Sg: Walker, Reddick
Sf: Carmello, Gallo, (Dude from Stanford)
Pf: Amare, Gallo, Anderson
C: Randolf, Turiaf, Jordan

really think Orlando gonna give up starter, first guard off bench and Anderson for Al?

And why would Knicks want them when they are like duplicate, triplicate of our roster?

Please....NO. He's not a leader, he's a gunslinger and while he can score in bunches, he has very little brain matter.

Orlando needs a player that can create his own shot. Al fits that Van Gundy half-court system. Orlando is way over the cap so the only way they can sign Al is through a sign & trade. Al is trying get more than the mid-level exception. With the way the market has gone thus far, I wouldn't be surprised if he does.

He is big enough to play the 4- I am not sure he is quick enough to play the 3. I think he got bigger, but I don't think big enough to play the 5. Much better facing the basket on offense than with his back to the basket.

He is a smart player with a good outside shot (can hit the 3) who comes in with a $1.5 M price tag this year, and 3 more years on his contract. Just turned 22, I think.

I like the guy, and he can give you a solid 15+ MPG without hurting you offensively and making dumb mistakes.

If this is Harrington were talking about? At the most, were getting a first round pick that will project to be 20-30.
