I think Kahn secretly hates Donnie.

Looks like a lot of truth in that statement. Never saw 1 GM so hell bent on **** blocking another team, especially one that isn't in their division. He obviously holds a grudge against his old boss.

Jeff Goodman of FOX Sports tweeted Thursday that the Miami Heat have offered Mike Miller a five-year deal worth $27 million to $30 million with a Thursday night deadline.

Goodman writes: "Miller has been told by Miami that the team is 'confident' LeBron James is coming. Miller could likely earn more money with [the] New York Knicks."

they are under the cap and can't off the MLE.

I said MLE type deal. That means they want to pay him around the salary of the MLE which is what Beasley was getting paid.

Obviously the big 3 can take a few hundred grand less to get the offer to where it needs to be.

The Miami Heat have found a trade taker for Michael Beasley that will create more salary-cap space for the dramatic transformation of their roster.

Sources close to the situation told ESPN.com that the Heat have agreed on a trade that will send Beasley to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who can absorb Beasley's contract into their salary-cap space.

Minnesota, according to sources, will complete the trade by sending Miami a second-round pick in 2011. The Wolves and Heat, sources said, have also agreed to swap an unspecified future first-round pick.

Beasley was the No. 2 overall draft choice in 2008 but hasn't lived up to the billing yet. He averaged 14.8 points and 6.2 rebounds last season for the Heat.

Hmmmm. On 2nd thought I prefer to have Randolph than a future pick swap.

ha ha- I called this first in another thread! I knew it would be Kahn who helped the Heat out. What is this jokers problem- he is doing a horrific job of overstuffing each position with duplicating crap and his scouting seems to consist of keeping an ear open for whomever Donnie is after. Poor Twolves- I thought no one could be worse than their prievious GM, but somehow they've found a successor every bit as bad.

I'd call them up immediately and offer more than a 2nd round pick.

ESPN.com sources: Miami has agree to a trade with Minnesota that will send Michael Beasley to the Wolves. Link forthcoming

So this is the team the entire NBA will be hating for allowing the Heat to get Wade-Bosh-LeBron.

Kahn is an epic moron.

Kahn just got the #2 pick from the 2008 draft for a second round pick. I can't blame him for taking that deal. However it really screws up the league by giving Miami more cap room but Kahn doesn't care about that. His team sucks and he is trying to make it better.

Miami now has only 1 player under contract besides the Wee Three - Mario Chalmers $847,000. That is it!

Kahn gave a 2nd round pick for a guy with huge talent, who is screwed up. If the guy gets his head straight, Kahn got a huge deal. If not, he lost a 2nd round pick. Why would Kahn say no to a deal like that?

Beasley is garbage....let's face facts here. He's not even all that talented. He is more than screwed up he's a straight up whack job.

As to the Wolves it's just a joke what they've been doing. Handing over KG to Boston... Taking on Miami's trash so they could get all 3 superstars.

Is this the leftover unwritten punishment for the Joe Smith fiasco?

I just read somewhere that a future switching of first round picks might be part of the deal. If that's the case, I don't like it for the Wolves.

I kind of agree. But look at the T'Wolves roster. Kahn just blindly stocks talent with seemingly no concept of how to build a team or assemble a roster. Look at their roster - just ridiculous and redundant. And he just helped the Heat. He has to be the most hated/ridiculed GM in basketball...

What makes you think that the swap is going in Miami's favor?

with the 3 queens miami's pick will be 25 or lower..while the twolves will probably be in the lottery again..with miami having the option of switching picks the odds are they will get a better player and if lucky a superstar..just like how the lakers got lucky in the mid 70's when they traded gail goodrich for a future first round pick..that pick turned out to be magic johnson
