Is Beasley being traded? I don't think this is possible if he is on the roster.

Doesn't the league have rules to adjust for the no income tax states? Otherwise the caps for every other state would have to be higher.

Hahn said Lebron talked to Miller about joining him in Miami. If I'm the Knicks I offer Miller 15 million for one year just to try to screw them I know it's dumb but F the Heat

I wonder if Nate ends up in Miami? He might not get much love but if not for money then for glory?

Bosh if he don't get his 6th year keeps losing a lot of money. Jar Jar Binks don't make the money Dwayne and Lebron do off the court.

Maybe its a deal if Lebron choses another.

No. That's why FL has always been viewed as a great location vs. playing in Toronto.

From what I read, Celtics are very interested in bringing him back.

It seems like they should but that has been a perk to play there for free agents. I think guys in Canada get hit harder with taxes but I might be wrong.

Don't states with no-income tax tend to have high sales taxes?

Everyone is playing this LeBron to Miami angle but Wade doesn't want him. You don't think he wants the lime light the heat situation is no longer about LeBron they got their stars. That is why I think this LeBron to Miami is a bunch of BS.

So why has he actively been trying to recruit him? Maybe they think they can convince Clev. that they will have to take a S&T.

Pat the Rat is a very smart guy. He doesn't need LeBron he got what he wanted with Wade and Bosh that is what they set out to do. Next order of business is to block the Knicks from getting LeBron so it becomes ridiculously easy for them to win championships and at the same time it just stops the Knicks from getting LeBron which basically keeps the Knicks depleted. Getting LeBron to Miami just kills all the birds with one stone.

WHAT THE F**K!! Dammit I am effin tired of this mfer, man......WTF does he need? Does he need an ice cream man to come after practice? Does he need friends to wipe his ass and flush after he takes a dump? What the hell is wrong with the league today filled with a bunch of effin pansies....what is this 5th grade? How the hell could the commissioner allow this type of overt collusion!?!???!?

Now I am a union guy but after all this I hope management really cracks down on this bull****!

I knew Riley would go after Miller, as he's still scarred by the memories of Allan Houston! This is actually hopefully a good sign as the deadline of tonight only makes sense if they know Lebron isn't coming (trying to lure Miller in by making out they'll be better than they are. I mean if Lebron was going to Miami it would mean they've found a taker for Beasley (the only person likely to do such a thing is KAAAAHHHHHNNNNNNNNN!) and the big three have agreed a substantial pay cut. This would be unliklely I think as although there is no income tax in Miami, it doesn't actually work out to be as much money as you would think (I can't remember the figure but it was a lot less than I thought). Also the problem with Miami is that there is not much scope to make money off the court (didn't our presentation say there was a 0 % chance of becoming a millionaire there?

Lebron has not told the Knicks anything, from what I gather, and they are beginning to feel gloomy and p***ed off (read D'Antoni's comment on going to Las Vegas). They haven't actually been told a definite no, but I think thats what they're speculating now. My optimism level is at 0.05% that he'll declare "New York Knicks" tonight, and that 0.05% is only there in case he says "New York Knicks" by mistake!

A four-team trade involving the Bobcats, Heat, Rockets and Raptors has reportedly been discussed.

Sources say Michael Beasley and Jared Jeffries would be sent to Charlotte, with Tyson Chandler going to Houston.

The move would create more cap space for LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

One source indicates Toronto is uninterested in taking on approximately $3.1 million in salary from the Rockets.

The Raptors would like to acquire a trade exception.

Interesting if true considering we took it up the ass to get rid of Jefferies. Doesn't make sense for Houston. Especially for a guy that played 50 games and averaged under 7pts and 7rbs. Making $12.6 million

i don't see why the Heat would want Mike Miller? Don't they need a big guy? I guess they need a shooter to space the floor for all these guys.

Whatever.

The NBA has always been this way though. Riley always gets the free agents and players he wants - he's one of the best salesmen in the game. Since he left the Lakers he hasn't done much with them though.
