More than ironic- it would be a dagger in the back of the Knicks.

I think Boozer and the Cavs management/ownership group do not like each other. I think any conflict between Boozer and LeBron is overblown like Amare/D'Antoni.

Boozer also pushes one of last years pleasant surprises- Gibson- to the bench, because I don't think either of them can play the 3.

They need a dead shot outsider shooter ASAP.

Payroll at about $46/7 M if you add $16 M to $31,861,826 M, although I assume that if you have yearly increases it does not have to start at $16 M.

guessing first year salary is about $12M to $13M.

again, this just hammers home the brilliance of donnie NOT waiting on Bosh and pouncing on Amare. if the Bulls had Amare right now, they'd be in the driver's seat for LeBron...

Actually, they (HoopsHype) still have Hinrich on the roster- he was traded. Subtract $9M.

I think they have 6 players on their roster at this point.

i think dlee might try to work with the knicks on a sign and trade.

of course, all that changes if you know who comes here.

i don't think we can do this if we sign lebron + amare...

lee's rights will have to be renounced...

unless it's part of a sign + trade to cleveland...

if no lebron, a sign + trade deal involving lee is much more likely...

If you're a Knick fan you gotta be concerned now about Boozer to the Bulls...And Paladin's right -- I believe Hinrich was dealt to Washington in a trade to be completed after this moritorium period concludes. So they'll have the room to add him (again I curse Washington up & down for making such an unbelievably irresponsible trade does nothing for the Wizards and only bails out the Bulls )..Very concerned here fellas...I hope this guy's mind was made up already..

Lebron, buddy, stick to you guns -- if you're convinced you can make NY a winner and you want us & you liked the plan we laid out for you (that started with Amar'e Stoudemire) then stick to your damn guns my dude!!!

No, I'm not concerned about this in the least. Its too little too late. Lebron not going to change decision based on Boozer. This is Chicago's Plan D.

I hope you're right bro...Still a little worried..Just yesterday, it sounded like Cleveland was a lock if Bosh gave the OK...They even had a S&T in place..Just sayin'...

do you really think LeBron is thinking CHI and he talked to Amare, Bosh and those guys turned him down and now he turns to Boozer? Who left CLE about 5 years ago?

What's a better supporting cast? A 41 win team that added Boozer or a 29 win team that added Amare? I'll reserve my optimism until I hear the announcement.
