He didn't LEAK any STORY. Go to his twitter page and he has been saying that he is waiting to see just like everyone else. Broussard only said that it is a possibility. That Miami IS in the mix. There is no LEAKING OF A STORY here Briggs. And you know it.

Im not deaf and blind--I can hear fine--have u watched ESPN in the last hour?

Yes, the NBA will become irrelevant to me as well.

This whole thing has been a turn off. If it was my guess at this point--I would say LBJ is doing this for the Boys + Girls club--(for pub) and will stay in Clev--why--exactly when has he visited anyone's facilities? Miami--no nJ/nY--No chicago(who killed themselves) no--so you are going to commit to something without atleast scouting the whole gig out? Or was it just his intention to stay home where he feels safe just to make a movie of the ordeal? From his personality--I think he stays in Clev for 3 more years.

Amare didnt visit until he was done.

Why do you need to visit? Everyone came to him. He saw a presentation on the refurbed Garden. We had a 2nd visit to ensure him he would still be paid max after we signed Amare. Of Chi/NY/Cle the Knicks have the best talent for him to fit with in Douglas/Chanler/Amare/Gallo. Chi's big draw is a ball dominant PG. Cle's big draw is he will never have to win there to be the best Ohio athlete ever

I'm with you. It will just be a league of total haves or have nots, and guess which one the Knicks will be.
The only thing worth watching will be the finals when big-3 meets big-3.

I'd still watch Knicks games. Will be fun to watch Amare and Gallo go off.

If this thing happens, I think the league really needs to look into contraction.

this is my sentiment too.

The reports of Bosh and Wade are already running rampant. Lebron as a 3rd wheel makes no sense at all.

If Lebron goes to Miami on a third max deal (i.e., if they can move Beasley) Miami would use all but $11k of their available cap space to sign those three guys. That means EVERY other player on the roster will be a vet minimum. An injury to one of the stars would seriously hurt their competitiveness. Not to mention, each will be needing touches, each will be needing endorsements in a week advertising market, each will be trying to one-up the other.

It's a recipe for disaster. Riley is smart enough to realize it would be a stupid move. Lebron isn't signing in Florida. He's too big for that market all by himself, forget about with two other superstars. Lebron is coming to the Knicks. Announcement to follow tomorrow at 9 p.m. Book it.

Who could possible beat a team like that? Or a team with Kobe, Payton, Malone and Shaq for that matter? Did the Pistons even have an all star that year?

Malone and Payton were already washed up. Didn't they retire that year?

After watching Wade and Bosh on tip toe around certain questions I realized Lebron to Miami is almost a lock.

No way does Bosh not take the max to play with JUST Wade.

IMHO, it would be idiotic for Miami to even try to get Lebron. Are they going to have Bosh, Wade, Lebron and a bunch of NBDL players? I doubt it.

It makes more sense and is better for the NBA in general for Wade and Bosh to be in Miami and Amare and Lebron to be in NY, renewing the NY/MIA rivalry and making more people interested in the NBA product. Fans can rally behind those teams and it would be the talk of the Eastern Conference.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

If Wade and NBDL players made it to the playoffs I can only imagine what Wade, Lebron, Bosh, and Scrubs could do.

The Lakers brought this about because they are already carrying essentially 3 max deals(Bryant, Gasol, and Bynum). Plus they have guys like Odom and Artest.

Where did you get that Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade aren't signing for the MAX?

True, but I'm stil hoping that Lebron to Miami won't happen. I'd rather see NYK be a Miami rival than the Heat run the table with all those players. (If it were the Knicks making such a move, I'd be cool with it, though.

Somewhere, Stern wouldn't want that to happen, either (at least I hope he wouldn't).
