I don't know about Amar'e, but I don't think you can accurately say that Lee 'holds his own' on D. Unfortunately he hasn't reached that level as a defender.

what would make u think they would hold their own? i don't see it... i see another porous defensive tandem just like Lee & Zach were, or Lee & Eddy Curry... Amare is a monster offensively but he's not a good defensive player sorry to say... we all know about jazz hands.
